at 16:13, that pic right there with Kopaka and Pohatu comparing how much Krana they collected, reminds me of that one scene from that mini film Vrahno made called Struggle in the drifts.
I understand by they are using wave 1 masks for Mata and Uniter masks for Nuva, but personally the thing I liked about the base G2 masks was that they looked like more logical upgrades to the OG Mata mask than the actual Nuva masks.
See I would have their Mata and nuva masks then for their phantoka/mistika revamps I'd use those G2 wave 1 masks to make them look like they're still the same character. These are still really awesome tho lol
I don't know if Brandon's confirmed it, but I'm 99% sure most if not all the accessory designs were inspired by JustRube's drawing of the Toa Nuva. The red feathers on Lewa, the climbing gear on Pohatu, the flowers on Gali and Onua's lightstone necklace are all directly taken from that artwork.
This guy is what I wished I was when I was building MOCs at like 10. The storytelling in their design, the flair additions like the krana belt or pouches of gems on Onua... This dude is something else lmao. Lewa reminds me of a freerunner with the black legs (like the loose joggers they wear) and it fits.
What I like about this is they put the Bio part of the name into the characters as the original toys went much more robotic than the cyborg esque idea of the characters.
I just have this feeling the MOCs are going to be super fragile and fall apart the moment one would touch them. Probably why they all just stand and are not in really dynamic poses. Doesn’t matter though since these are just amazing
Been following this guy on twitter for a bit. I love how these MOCs have some very distinct body shapes that fit the characters very well. Honestly these are some of the best MOCs i've seen.
I think I prefer the Mata versions of the characters more than the Nuva. There's something about that unifying black shoulder armor that's working for me, and it's probably because it helps break things up just that little bit more. The silver armor is nice, but desaturates the overall finished product. The colors are just not quite as vibrant because they don't have that black to contrast with. But this is great stuff, a unified team with individual designs because of those subtle changes, they're wonderful.
Your video are always awesome to watch .To know any Lego part can be used on a bionicle or hero factory moc just makes mocing endless .Its like I said before Lego made some thing that was to big for them and the fans had to take it over and turn it into what it was suspose to be . It will never die just keep getting bigger and stronger .Thank you for what you give to such a great hobby (way of life )for us all .take care
nice video as always also I would love to see an episode focused on hero factory custom teams, you know, a bunch of custom (or just revamps of old) characters that form a bigger team
According to official instructions, flex tube is completely viable to be cut. I actually own the Seattle space needle architecture set and it told me to cut up the tubing lol
Hey hope it's ok I'm asking here, could you please please poat the instructions for the Onebot Megatron? The app doesn't seem to work anymore. Thank you so much
If I might offer a criticism of these, it would be that, for the 'definitive' versions of the Toa, the mask choice here is.. odd. Also, I think their weapons should probably look closer to the original Toa Mata since their names directly translate to the weapons they use.

12 year old me would’ve never believed I’d be friends with you my guy. Thank you so much for featuring me ♥️
A pleasure to feature your incredible work my friend!
Mate your mocs are simply flawless 😮
@@BenCossyOfficial, ya COULD pin this...
@Bsimmyjr21
You need some content on your own channel, too. These MOCs should do very well, with their own individual videos.
You sir, are a LEGEND as far as I care.
Love the proportions on these redesigns.
Yes I absolutely agree

The red claws on the Lewa Nuva really brings out the whimsy of the build

Onua reminds me of optimus primal and yknow what? I kinda dig it

I think for some like Tahu and Pohatu I would absolutely agree, but for the rest, I love both versions equally.
finally some positive pohatu body type representation
Boi... I fell in Looovee with these designs, Hope that you are happy with these series!
truly, these are the definitive versions of the Toa Mata. I would love to see some revamps of the other Toa like this, and Makuta as well.

Onua is my favorite. I always loved these huge buffed dudes. Brandon did such a good job at making him so imposing

So glad another video is out
Really cool stuff
that tahu mata blade goes hard
Those stickers are the elemental signs from the bohrok-kal arc of the mata-nui online games
These are crazy good
Mad max hair i love it all ❤
any chance to see definitive versions of teh Kaitas from teh same builder?
I would love to see those reemagined in the styles these ones have been
According to official instructions, flex tube is completely viable to be cut. I actually own the Seattle space needle architecture set and it told me to cut up the tubing lol
Best tahu Ive seen so far
I miss bionicle so much.
IS it just me or is that photo shoot at 16:!8 a cheeky reference to Vrahno's Fan animation?
Hoping Brandon gives Takanuva a go next.
Hey hope it's ok I'm asking here, could you please please poat the instructions for the Onebot Megatron? The app doesn't seem to work anymore. Thank you so much
Is there any avaliable instructions for these mocs?
I feel it would be more fitting if the mata versions had the original toa's masks. the moc's are still amazing tho.
Tahu uniter actually looks better in grey don't know why they didn't do that in 2016

Ah but their names translate into their elements ie tahu= fire etc
Every single one of these is fantastic. The only downside I could find was that Onua’s iconic hunch was missing in the remake.
First
The only thing that makes me sad is hand design ( for tahu or kopaka ) on some specific sgots we can see it s an highly illegal technic.... T_T
