Sad to see the the Hero Factory Drop Ship didn't make the list. Still one of my favorite sets to this date, and I have a completed one sitting on my shelf right now.
A good memory I have about Witch Doctor was that some like 4-5 years back, I had Witch Doctor, but he had gotten taken apart, and I had wanted to build him again, but I didn't have the instructions, and I didn't know what to do, so I decided to just look at a picture of him, and I was actually able to build him (almost) entirely. He didn't have the Pistons in his legs, but close enough.
3.0 was when I really started getting into hero factory. I remember loving the bulk and nex sets because of their long claws. (I think I actually ended up getting 3 of nex) Overall though, my favorite set would probably have to be Furno XL he was just so cool with that massive sword and a cape that has seen use on my mocs since the day I took Furno XL apart.
this may be a bit odd but my favrioute hero factory set is either queen beast or splitter beast from the invasion from below series. witch doctor is VERY close second.
To this day , I love the Hero factory set and I made MOCs of the characters in as purely their colour as possible with XL versions too, and I have Core Hunter as an anti hero
For my entire life, since the videos for Breakout came out, every time i’m imagining a hero and a villain fighting, i hear that song from Stormer XL and Black Phantom fighting on the star wars-style bridge
So glad to see Rotor on this list! I got him while on vacation in the USA together w Corroder and they wound up keeping me company for the rest of my stay there. Later its pieces would become crucial and yeah, overall just great memories.
my top 10: 10: Nex (3.0) he's my favourite of the 3.0 heroes (mostly because he's themed after a Tiger and I like his scene with Stringer against Scorpio in the actual episode, his personality on the show I found very enjoyable). 9: Jawblade he's a sassy evil shark (need I say more) 8: Toxic Reapa cool green villain, he has a cool Mask, cool posture that works well for the character, and I love the Lime green tanks on his shoulder, combine that with the thin legs and bulky arms, beautifully well designed set. 7: Rocka (Breakout) he has a cool shield, I like the mask definitly the best version of Rocka in my opinion 6: Dragonbolt big electrical dragon 5: Preston Stormer (1.0) the original stormer set remains my favourite version of the character, he isn't as complex of a build as the later versions of him (especially Breakout) but he doesn't need to be. 4: Jetbug Jetbug was my first CCBS set and I have fond memories of him flying around fighting my 1.0 Furno, Surge and Breez, also he had a really cool prescence in the show. 3: Rotor Rotor was my second Titan set (After Gadunka) and to this day I like him more then Von Nebula (there was a time after I got him where I only had eyes for Rotor). 2: Meltdown Meltdown is by far the coolest villain on this list, I've used his mask (which is my Favourite Mask in all of Hero Factory) for so many mocs, also his appearance on the show is an absolute delight 1: Scorpio this is just personal Bias here, but you could switch Meltdown and Scorpio around and it wouldn't make a difference, but out of the 3.0 wave Scorpio is in my opinion the best set (or at least the one I wanted most) he's my third Titan set after Rotor (I skipped Firelord the previous year, because he's kind of forgettable, Jetbug steals the show there), but yeah a big green scorpion with a gun on his stinger. (did I mention I like green?)
Tbh i kinda like the new voice for surge. Since his old voice didn't really fit his later stage since he's basically a veteran by the time of brain attack. His new voice is less whiny and sounds more adult like. But that's just my opinion
This brought back very good memories! Loved this episode! My favorite Hero Factory is Furno 2.0. It was just an awesome design and had an awesome blaster! The goggles could turn around and have the regular mask look.
I thought invasion from below was really cool, and a nice way to end the theme with the new design with "Min-Fig" heroes, but Brain Attack was very good too.
Good video! I’ll comment on your takes because I feel like it. I think Nex 2.0 is the best for the same reasons you think Evo 2.0 is. I really like both of the new characters but I still wish we had a Stringer and Bulk 2.0 sets. I still want Stringer 3.0, and another to make a 2.0 variant. All 3 of the secondary colors Stringer has had are awesome I will say. My brother has Speeda Demon and I remember from the night he brought it home I really liked him. My one regret is that he did not have a launcher of any sort, and that no bike was ever made for Stormer. My brother also has Xplode, which is a great figure. My personal favorite is Meltdown, he’s almost a Barraki. But I respect your Xplode choice and I’d personally put him in the second place for 1.0 villains. For Core Hunter, I completely agree. I remember back when Breakout 2nd wave had just hit, and I had a gift card and I had just enough to get one large HF set, and all that were available were Bulk, Voltix, Core Hunter, and Breez who I already had. I ended up choosing Bulk and I stand by my choice (he’s a great set), but I still really want CH (sometime soon, perhaps). Furno Bike is a really good set which I also want. Also, does the standard Furno fit on it? I never did get any IFB sets, and IFB still doesn’t sit well with me. The cliffhanger ending of Breakout and Brain Attack really left me hanging with IFB. Speaking of which, my brother also has Black Phantom, which I’m jealous of. Not much to say you didn’t already there, same with Rotor. As for Witch Doctor, I put him at #1 in my list as well. My brother was going to get him, too, but unfortunately neither of us did. In conclusion, to me Hero Factory was more than a toy, but are memories. My all time favorite memory was near Christmas 2011 when my brother and I were at Toys R Us and we saw the new Breakout sets for the first time. I was so thrilled, I got Surge and Stormer 3.0 (I didn’t have any other stormers at the time). My brother got Black Phantom. I loved the new backgrounds on the packaging, and I loved that for the heroes they brought back the original masks and gave each one a Zamor sphere launcher, two things I desperately wanted Heroes to have again. Waiting the next few weeks was torture, ahaha.
@@PlasticToa I do agree that it would be cool to have a purple version of newer Evo's, cause the 2.0 and 3.0 r prototypes. But toxic or water don't really align with purple.
Black Phantom was my favorite, he was built really well compared to other Large herofactory figures making him great to play with when I was a kid. I also think his look was brilliant and fun.
@@lil_ceilingfan5851 exactly, breakout introduced so many new parts, and he came wit the majority of them, the mace pieces, the blade, the spider head, plus the trans green and black colour combo was unseen

9:34 That was me with the Microfighters when the Planet Sets died in Star Wars. Now, I own every Microfighter (excluding the convention exclusives of course) and even though I don't have any more room, I'm going to keep getting them so long as they are still being made. They're so much fun, and it's nice to have a smaller version of a thing versus something that would cost $100 and take up half a shelf. 12:51 :Hears about Core Hunter's backstory: Me: 66.media.tumblr.com/26a610a9aa9ffc50c56afd92fdb164d8/tumblr_ot3lrgl13X1rszoo3o4_r1_540.gifv 15:38 Kaxium V3 is in a corner somewhere crying. 22:06 This is not the way of the Dark Side. And here I thought we would rule the Galaxy together... You are a RIVAL! 22:33 Okay, scratch all of that, Padawan Lost and Wookiee Hunt, the Season 3 Finale, was the turning point for me with Ahsoka, too! As I've rewatched the series, you can definitely tell that there is character growth all throughout the early seasons and she does actually get better, you just never realized it, but when I saw Season 3's Finale, man, I was totally on board. She works best when she's alone and not with Anakin in my opinion. What's weird is that even though there is that big noticeable difference with the design change starting at Heroes on Both Sides, she's still kind of like she was before, she was possessed in the Mortis Arc, and in the Citadel Arc, she's not even supposed to be there, but when that finale hits, she finally grew up, wasn't playing second fiddle to Anakin, and actually was given the time to show she had actually improved, and from then on, I'm like, you're great. I was still always on the bandwagon of killing her off though. I'm not against her living now since I've seen Rebels, but then now that she's also still alive after the events of Return of the Jedi, I'm like, okay Dave, you need to learn to let go and kill her off or you should have left her on Malichor to disappear into the ether. 30:50 I have to say, I love Medium Azure. It's a very welcoming color and I'm actually shocked that Medium Blue is still in existence because boy did that color not age well. It doesn't turn yellow to my knowledge (although I bet it does if you do it right), but seeing how vibrant Medium Azure is, it really makes Medium Blue look kind of gray and ugly, which is weird because Sand Blue is objectively gray and subjectively ugly, but it's a fantastic color. 31:40 *Braaams Intensify* That's crazy, I mean, he even has a similar sounding accent. I'm no dialect coach, but I imagine that the accent varies from where you are in Australia because I've noticed you sound different being in the West than the stuff I've heard on TV (Which is mostly from Crocodile Hunter lol) being in the East. I subscribe to Qui-Gon's philosophy here, "Nothing happens by accident." Although to be fair, they made the guy with a whole sound system built into his aesthetic sound like he's a country hick; Jimmy Stringer sounds like such a dope compared to how he looked. Ignoring that you are from Australia, -Cossy- Surge doesn't have a look to him that would denote any specific kind of accent so I can handle an Aussie voice coming out of his mouth. 33:44 As if it could be anyone else. Never owned it but I remember hearing Bio-Tube and MOCpages blowing up about that guy. Alright, that's enough out of me, *yeesh* I write a lot.

Hmmm...🤔 My top 5: 5. Ogrum 4. Witch Doctor 3. Von Nebula 2. Fire Lord 1. Black Phantom I had 2 Black Phantoms and still use the Bug from the gun for 2 of my favorite mocs...
Kinda, It was more of a speeder bike, it didn't have any wheels, but of course, there was a bike set in the glatorian line, Kaxium V3 I'm gonna stop sounding like I know everything now and just geek out over how much I love every constraction theme
Yes I saw Eljay's MOC, it's super rad. I'm pretty busy right now working on my Brickvention MOC for next year (it's pretty much a 2 month endeavor) But once that's done I can easily make that Eljay MOC. Still super keen to.
Number 1 and 2: I used to have those two back in the 2010s... until I took them apart for my bionicles. Now I regret tearing them apart years later... 😑
Thornrax was my first or second hero factory set when I was 3. But I don’t remember if the first one was thornrax or breakout stringer. Anyway this is my list: 10:Waspix 9:Furno (Breakout) 8:Voltix 7:Evo xl machine 6:Splitter beast 5:Drilldozer 4:Thornrax 3:Dragon bolt 2:Witch doctor 1:Surge (Brain attack) Btw took me about 20 minutes to make because it was so hard😅
Especially with the bike set that literally says Bionicle. My head cannon is that it's one of the potential futures from that mask in the comics. One where they forget the past about glatorians and the great spirit
Sorry, but I have to ask if you've gotten my E-mails because I haven't gotten a reply Mail saying that you've got it. It also isn't by the Spam Mails or in the Trash. I hope the Mails have arrived and everythings ok.
I think a lot of the hf villains vere very repetitive and unrememberable. Or then its just becouse i was young at that point and havent really gotten that much into hf
I personally think that the title of worst hero factory wave goes to invasion from below mainly because of how generic the villian sets were compared to breakout or even brain attack and MOST of the mechs weren't overly good either
Yea all the Brain Attack sets are really similar but I love the wave because of how nostalgic it is to me, unlike the first wave which is also was the worst wave in my opinion🔥
CCBS was a blight on the Bionicle name. No kid in the right mind wants to buy the same inner frames and armor pieces with every single set. It takes all the fun out of it and makes it entirely not worth buying most of the sets. Hero Factory and "Gen 2" of Bionicle failed for good reason. Lego cheaped out and missed what everyone liked about Bionicle entirely.
@@aaroncarr3413 Yes! That was also very disappointing. "now you can make big sets by connecting the same 5 ball joint pieces together instead of anything fun like before" -> "why do people hate this???"

So him an Von nebula, dang.
Core hunter versus, von nebula.

Didnt Takanuva come with a bike?
Kinda, It was more of a speeder bike, it didn't have any wheels, but of course, there was a bike set in the glatorian line, Kaxium V3
I'm gonna stop sounding like I know everything now and just geek out over how much I love every constraction theme

9 Break out evo
8 von nebula
7 voltix
6 nitroblast
5 stormer xl
4 meltdown
3 coroder
2 drilldoser
1 splitface
Solid choices!
Yea dude Drilldozer and Splitface are both really good but splitface sadly isn’t on my list. Go check it out you’ll find it in the latest comments!
Speaking of self-Mocs, when are you gonna make that moc of Eljay? (He recently already made a moc of you)
Yes I saw Eljay's MOC, it's super rad. I'm pretty busy right now working on my Brickvention MOC for next year (it's pretty much a 2 month endeavor) But once that's done I can easily make that Eljay MOC. Still super keen to.
Fun fact: the jetrax T6 has an alut build of a chopper bike
Number 1 and 2: I used to have those two back in the 2010s... until I took them apart for my bionicles. Now I regret tearing them apart years later... 😑
There was technically a alt build for one of the bionicle vehicles that was a bike
Thornrax was my first or second hero factory set when I was 3. But I don’t remember if the first one was thornrax or breakout stringer. Anyway this is my list:
10:Waspix
9:Furno (Breakout)
8:Voltix
7:Evo xl machine
6:Splitter beast
5:Drilldozer
4:Thornrax
3:Dragon bolt
2:Witch doctor
1:Surge (Brain attack)
Btw took me about 20 minutes to make because it was so hard😅
Great choices on your list, well worth the 20 mins haha :)
6:48 already forgot 😢
holy scrap, i found the only other Invasion from Below fan
also my favorite set was Splitface
His name... is Rocka... not Rocko...
3.0 stringer was my first one, and I wish I kept him in one piece :( is there any way of buying these now?
Yes, here's a video guide showcasing lots of ways to buy Bionicle today :)

@@BenCossyOfficial cheers mate, have a Goodnigjt
My favourite is vakama!
Wat?😂
whats ccvs
Ben when asked why he likes these sets
I just think they're neat.
I consider heroes wearing helmets because they cover their entire head.Toa on the other hand, wear masks.
Why did they theme stringer after a bear? A bat would have made more sense.
helmets for hero factory and masks for bionicle
I think that hero factory is in the future of the bionicle story.
That is officially now part of my headcannon
Especially with the bike set that literally says Bionicle. My head cannon is that it's one of the potential futures from that mask in the comics. One where they forget the past about glatorians and the great spirit
That would be cool but it just doesn’t make any sense😅
uhm actually it’s Rocka not Rocko
I expected dragon bolt to be on the list
Oh well....
At least jaw beast is there :)
BANANA DRAGON
I think this is the only guy who likes Invasion from below
Sorry, but I have to ask if you've gotten my E-mails because I haven't gotten a reply Mail saying that you've got it. It also isn't by the Spam Mails or in the Trash. I hope the Mails have arrived and everythings ok.
Von nebula is Darth Vader
Did he throw hot soup?
POV: you’re looking for LEGO’s comment
Dude pls no, you're killed me, he's not _R o c k o_ , Ben for gods sake please nooooo
*the way you say it is hilarous
Roko? I think you meant roka lol
NO ROCKA FROM BREAKOUT???? 🤯🤯🤯😭😭😭😭😭😭
I woke up at 6:25
What about Ben cossy he's the best set
I think a lot of the hf villains vere very repetitive and unrememberable.
Or then its just becouse i was young at that point and havent really gotten that much into hf
We all have to agree I think brain attack is the worst wave
I personally think that the title of worst hero factory wave goes to invasion from below mainly because of how generic the villian sets were compared to breakout or even brain attack and MOST of the mechs weren't overly good either
The figures for brain attack looked ( i think) better as a team rather then each individual character
Yeah, but i love that too
Yea all the Brain Attack sets are really similar but I love the wave because of how nostalgic it is to me, unlike the first wave which is also was the worst wave in my opinion🔥
speeda demon: exists
yusei fudo wants to know your location
CCBS was a blight on the Bionicle name. No kid in the right mind wants to buy the same inner frames and armor pieces with every single set. It takes all the fun out of it and makes it entirely not worth buying most of the sets. Hero Factory and "Gen 2" of Bionicle failed for good reason. Lego cheaped out and missed what everyone liked about Bionicle entirely.
They forgot technic was part of Bionicle name
@@aaroncarr3413 Yes! That was also very disappointing. "now you can make big sets by connecting the same 5 ball joint pieces together instead of anything fun like before" -> "why do people hate this???"
Wow I am early also 21st
I get it only now why they named the two new charachter Nex and Evo. Nex=next and Evo=evolution. Next evolution.
Omg mitääääöö?!! EN OO IKINÄ TAJUNNU TOTA🤯
