It is one of the most popular racing circuit in Italy.
It was built in 1950, and has been hosting racing events on 2 and 4 wheels ever since.
It 1980, it hosted the only edition of the Italian GP not to take place in Monza.
It is mostly known as the venue of the San Marino GP, held between 1981 and 2006.
In recent years its popularity increased further as it started to host f1 and WEC races again.
