In a way this feels like a fitting conclusion to Linkin Park’s career. For so long Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold were neck and neck in the battle of the best metal band of the 2000s so to play the last two songs of their career with Shadows feels almost like it was meant to be
Honestly, I feel like A7X was a better Metal Band. Not saying Linkin Park was bad, because they weren't in the slightest, but I just feel like Sevenfold was more true to it than LP was.
Both of Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold aren't the best metal bands, they are just more innovative with music beyond their original genres that makes them loved by non-metalheads

2 things: First, it's completely understandable that Matt was flattening some notes out considering he was apparently coming off a big tour. Despite what some non-musicians seem to believe, vocalists actually put a lot of effort into their performance and doing it night after night for an extended period will leave you much less capable by the end of it. Think of it like playing a guitar night after night and only getting to halfway tune it again before each show. Second, those closeup shots of Mike are hard to watch. You can very tangibly see the pain he is smiling through in his eyes. Brad as well, there is one shot of him getting close to Mike and them looking at each other and the smile droops for a split second before they pick it back up again. I never watched this show before now and after hearing Mike's song Over Again it makes it extra hard to see those moments.

@@successfulfailure5153 His voice is actually even more capable and healthy now after The Stage. He STILL has yet to hit his prime, and he's in his mid-40's at this point in time. In fact, the entire band has yet to hit their prime. We'll get to see them grow even more, and that's pretty fuckin rad.
