    Bro gave his best and proved himself as one of the best T20 batters of All time and surely without a doubt the best T20 WC batter ever still no one gave him credit for that until now. And now got carried by team to a WC and he is the GOAT.
    Shows nature of a sport and how fickle people can be, even if he had dominated another WC this time as highest run getter and failed to win people would have crapped him. Sometimes its about luck and after all the years of hardwork he got that share of luck.
    Its fitting that legend like him ended n high note with MOM n WC final.
    MOM in leauge game, MOM agisnt Pak, MOM in Virtual KO against Aus, MOM in SF, 2 POTT and now MOM in final bro has done everything and rightfully earned the tag of greatest T20WC batter ever.

      "... how fickle people can be"
      You mean, how fickle Indian cricket fans and specifically Indian followers of IPL are?
      The rest of the cricket world and true fans of the game bow down to and appreciate the talent and greatness of Virat Kohli as a T20 player, an ODI player, a test player and a captain.
      I repeat, only Indians are fickle.

    Imagine Axar Patel & Shivam Dubey having to bat in each other's company, instead of both with Kohli .. had Virat lost his wicket trying to take more risks from 13th-14th over ! Highly likely that they would have lost their way hitting out (though the opposite is possible too, even if not as likely)
    Kohli being around with his game awareness produced Axar's optimised attacking output & later allowed Dubey to hit out from ball 1. Together they got a total (in the given circumstances) that Kohli would have thought to be above par for a final..with India's bowling .. until Klassen shook their balls
    I count most of Axar's runs (& SR) & a few of Dubey's runs in Kohli's account
    Stats in isolation, while important .. are still never more important than the 'game' itself. Kohli has got the 'game'
    Wonderful video as always with engaging content & narration. I've hardly ever commented on youtube

      Heres what happened, due to the way Axar and Dubey batted, spinners were removed from attack, which helped Kohli.
      Plus Hardik and Jadeja werent able to contribute as they faced fewer balls.
      Kohli is all time great but batting that way in final and then failing to close the game.
      That pitch was helping pacers a lot, picking Kuldeep instead of Siraj, could also have cost Ind final.

    Hi Jarrod,
    Great video. Your videos are wonderful, but there are a few suggestions that might make them even better:
    1. Don't add an ad at the end of the video, as this breaks the flow for the viewer.
    2. Add better background or emotional background music at the end of the video, prolonging it for a minute and allowing the viewer to truly absorb what the video has showcased. For example, your video on Ishant Sharma.
    As a viewer, I need to feel the emotional high after the video ends, to fully appreciate Kohli's actual stature and the journey he has gone through in T20s. By making these subtle changes, you allow the viewer to feel more connected and enjoy your content on a deeper level. In this video, it felt like the ending was abrupt, even though it was content-rich. Your videos should feel like a story, giving the viewer an emotional lift at the end. This will help your videos reach a larger audience and receive more likes, which in turn will increase their reach even further. Also, will make the viewer share your content more often.
    I hope you keep this in mind for next time. Keep up the good work.

But I am sad because he could have easily played T20 till the next edition but some stat padders were really ganging up against him since sometime now basing their arguments on the small grounds, flat wickets and comparatively easier bowling attacks found in IPL. Just to burst the stat bubble, Kohli has a very similar strike rate to Rohit Sharma, considered to be the more explosive of the two, and scores 15 more runs than him on an average in every T20I match. What is the definition of true strike rate and true average?

    • @foodsafari-rj3uq
      @foodsafari-rj3uq 2 месяца назад +3

      True values for any agent's data are essentially their linear deviation from the raw means over a period. For example, you can calculate the raw means of batting strike rates at the death and calculate the difference of this value from a specific player's mean batting SR. That's the player's true SR at the death.

    • @ssrini2002
      @ssrini2002 2 месяца назад +6

True average of player A is the difference between player A's average and the average (arithmetic mean) of all other players' batting average. In International T20 Virat Kohli is the greatest ever batsman.
      SKY is a competition. True.
      But SKY only has played for 3 years while Virat has played for 14 years.
      (1)49 average with 137 strike rate
      (Higher strike rate than 18 of the top 25 rungetters coupled with highest ever average.
      More strike rate than Pooran, Gayle, Dhoni, etc in T20i)
      (2)Highest ever average.
