Hey fam, check that solution out for your android moisture detected fix on your phone. I hope it works for you! Snapchat = shamran25 Instagram = syedali0417
You are my phone savior dude. This exact issue was happening to me and I was losing the last of my battery, this got my phone charging up normally again just in the nick of time. 🙌
it worked for me as well. I had to repeat the procedcure a couple times because the port may still have been a bit damp as well but it wouldn't charge and now it's charging again. I'm up from 11% to 53% -- thank you. . I had another S7edge before and a similar thing happened and never got the phone to work again assuming I can get to a full charge, this is great. Thank you again.
You saved me! I was on a scuba diving boat in Mexico, with my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone in a backpack, and it never really got wet, was functioning perfectly, until I got back to cruise ship and plugged it in. OMG that moisture detected message was annoying! I tried a blow dryer on the USB charger port - NOPE! Then I just let it sit for 48 hours, until I was leaving the ship - still NOPE! Couldn't charge it. Then, when I got back home from cruise, tried it again - NOPE! So hopped on home computer and found you and your video, and wrote down your suggested settings steps. Hopped in my car and drove to T-Mobile, my cell carrier. But before I went into the store when I was down to my last 2% battery life, I stayed in the car where I was miraculously able to follow your steps, restarted, and WOW - plugged my phone into car charger and it seemed to be FINE! Waited in car until I got power up to 20% while I had the chance, then went into the store and told them the whole story. They said it HAD to have been water damaged, and I would have to replace it. But in front of them, I turned it off, then back on, and we plugged it into my wall charger which I had brought with me, and BINGO - PROBLEM SOLVED - THANK YOU! No new phone for me for X-mas, but I really wanted to wait for the S10 in March 2019 anyway. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
I had this problem for about 5 months until 3 weeks ago when I got fed up with it. All you need is rubbing alcohol, a spare toothbrush electric or other, and a hair dryer. Dip the brush in the alcohol and scrub inside the usb port for about 10-15 minutes dipping repeatedly. Then once you can see either on the bristles or with a flashlight that it is now clean inside you use the hair dryer. Set it to medium or low and blow dry holding the phone so that the usb port is facing down towards the ground for about 10 minutes. Then wait 5 minutes plug it in and voila no more issues. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't had the error once. Almost feels like a brand new phone! Cheers all hope this helped you!
Thx so much bro earlier today I had taken a picture in the pool and got it in some water then tonight I tried to charge it and it didn't work I was really frustrated then watched this vid had very low expectations bec I had to do it three times but on the third time when I plugged it in it Worked thx so much God bless I can sleep stress relieved tonight. Also I liked😀👍
Thank you so much!! Also for anyone who's phone has died and will now not charge because of this, hold the volume down and the home button, once held hold the power button as well. Then the device will boot into recovery mode, plug your device into your charger or pc and leave it for about an hour, this will slowly charge it to roughly 10% then quickly complete the steps in this video. That's what I did.
Thank you so much i was losing my shit over this problem that i had to resort to using my wireless charger until i found this solution, you are a an absolute legend
A thousand thank-yous, my friend. Your solution worked perfectly. I was in bit of a panic because I was down to 15% power and 6000km from home when I woke up to find this problem - so I had to find a solution - and quickly. Then I found this. All fixed, with 9% left! What a good man you are. All the best.
This solution did not work, the issue I have is that using MHL Micro USB to HDMI Cable comes up with the moisture detection error on the S7 its fine just using micro USB cable plugged into a USB port 3.0. Seems to be MHL has an issue with Samsung's Moisture Detection error
You saved my phone! I had to do the same procedure a few times but it finally did stop saying there was moisture detected. This was one of many videos I saw and this was the best and with a solution that worked for me. Thank you so much!
Despite the shady goings on I the background this actually helped. I figure it wont work if you actually have moisture , just if its glitching and giving you the error. So that may be why it isn't working for some of you. Thanks dude!
My port was dry asf but i still had this issue and the problem was cloth fibers/dust in the port. I cleaned it with a needle and was very careful while doing so and it worked for me!
Had to go to a Samsung store to use a wireless charger, the lady told me that it won't work and I need the motherboard replaced, put it on, changed settings and BOOM! Thanks man!
This absolutely worked on my Samsung S7, so glad you posted this. Phone had not gotten wet but still had charging port moisture error message. All fixed!
Thanks, I was at 3% and really worried my phone was going to be a goner, pleased to say it seems to be charging. After the reboot I had 1% left so just managed to get it all done. Really appreciate it :)
Hey man i had this youtube account like since it started never made one comment till today. Just want to say you are a fucking boss !!!!! Thanks so much dude you are a life saver you have no idea!!!!!!!!!!
gave it a try and my skeptical ass thought it wasn't going to work. turns out it did work but i have to do this trick every time my phone dies. saved me from having to buy a wireless charging pad thing to get around the ports altogether. blessed though. next toke is in ur name G
man I have the same phone Samsung s7 edge same problem and I was just following the steps on your video and my phone get fixed . thank you bro god bless you !!
Thanks! This is the second time I've had to use this trick. Today I was out in the snow and the snow and some moisture got in there. I believe that's what happened last time too
My phome fell in the toilet this morning. I wiped it off with tissues, a few hours later when i came home i tried to charge it (port moisture detected came up a little while after. I wiped the port with tissue, i blow dried it (for just a lil) then i put it in rive for roughly 5 hours. When that was done i did this that you said....it charged for just a lil bit and then samething keeps coming up (annoyed) its charging again now. Lets see for how long.
I just made my last My S7 payment. The S7 (not Edge) has not gotten wet, the problem began after System Update 26 but it seems others have had problems before that update. Notice sometimes when the problem has occurred the phone feels very warm. I've uninstalled or put apps to sleep that have been using over 1% of battery power, clearing cache, a forced power down, removing the phone from the phone case and let it cool down, then restarting has worked. Clearing cache (only) has also worked for me, but not this time. Will try the clear cache-turn off-cool down-restart once again.
Clear cache, power off, cool down, restart worked again. PITA though. Suspect Samsung engineering planned obsolescence to get S7 owners to buy new phones.
Interestingly, the problem has not reoccured. I uninstalled the Xperia clock widget because it had used almost 2% of battery power before the last failure to charge, and had put K9 mail to sleep for a previous occurrence. But there was a constant string of app updates for at least a week with several apps updating multiple times after the System 26 update. Maybe I won't have to trash the S7.
this worked for me, but i have to wonder at what cost? i mean that error message exsits for a reason right? so if we are going to bypass it like this and allow our phones to charge anyway aren't we just going to end up causing corrosion or a short in the wiring? I'd say use this work around at your own discretion!
I contacted Samsung support and they suggested 'clearing the phone cache' this worked great for me. You can find instructions on how to clear the cache on youtube.
So we gone act like the dude in the background not rolling a blunt.
lmfao puff puff pass my dude
