I have been making faux leather name keychains. Saw a tutorial that used double sided adhesive instead of glue. Just duplicate your offset one more time and cut the adhesive. No having to wait for glue to dry! Need to order some other colors of HTV and faux leather. Going to try making shaped keyrings next.
I found other tutorials for this key chain where they use a hot glue gun and super glue or e6000. When I did it that way, the key chain came out lumpy. So I wonder if I could use double sided adhesive instead and not have lumps afterwards. Any suggestions? I think the hot glue made the lumps.
Thank you so much I’ve watched so many designers and I always check your videos before my projects and you are the best I’ve had my cricut maker for almost five years and this is my first key ring and manage even stickers still working on them I’m so excited thank you so much 😊.
I made these keychains and I also made bows from faux leather and attached them to the keychain and my daughter loved it! They are so cute and perfect for small gifts! Add it to a gift bag or lunchbox or anything you need a name for! But what about the edges? Some of my faux leather doesn’t look as good on the edges. The white front and back faux leather looked great. But when I used a printed faux leather, the back is usually brown or gray and doesn’t look good after I glue it together. What would you do then?
You're right Angie these are super easy to make. Do you have another recommendation for faux leather? When I clicked on your link for the leather it says currently unavailable. Thanks for sharing.
Attach just cuts them together. So in this case it would have cut the rectangle out. Unite makes it all one piece so the sides of the rectangle disappear.
Hi Angie! Loved the video! Would you like to use Maker’s Plastic for a key chain? One sheet cut out with hole punch to attach? Let me know and I’ll send the sample product.
I was looking for some little gifts. This is perfect!
These would make great gifts!

That's brilliant! What cut setting do you use for the adhesive? And is it double sided tape?
Yep adhesive is definitely your preference.

Booo!! I have tried several amazon brands with good luck!
thank you, I was looking for this tutorial and now I know how to get started. one more question, what blade do you use for this?
Faux leather uses the fine point blade.
Which blade did you use for this to cut the faux leather?
The fine point blade works for faux leather.
does hot glue work as well on faux leather?
I don’t like it as well.
What blade is used to cut the leather?
Faux leather like this cuts with the fine point blade.
Would these work with fun foam as well?
I don’t think so but I have not tried that.
Angie ver nice! What’s the font name?
I showed it on the screen. I frankly never remember font names!
@@AngieHolden oh okay I guess I missed it. I will see it again. Thank you!
Very cute. I want to make them for luggage tags. I ordered your book too. What blade do you recommend for faux leather?
Faux leather uses the fine point blade.

What is the difference between Unite and Attach?
Thank you
Attach just cuts them together. So in this case it would have cut the rectangle out. Unite makes it all one piece so the sides of the rectangle disappear.
Where do you get your faux leather ? Please
I got mine from Amazon and linked to it in the description below this video.
