Best part is there’s no wild ingredients that you’d never heard of and have to travel the globe to find. Simple everyday ingredients most people have one hand
Even I can follow these instructions and I have no cooking skills. I just did it last night and everyone was like wtf these are so good. Thank you and subscribed.
I’m a brand new chef, and this was hands down the tastiest thing I’ve cooked thus far! It turned out so good, I could cry. Thank you sooo much for this simple and accessible, yet knock-your-socks-off good recipe! My confidence and motivation to cook have never been higher :)
THIS beautiful woman knows how to cook! Most people may fail to recognize just how wonderfully her cast iron skillet is seasoned! This is NO accident, and it takes tremendous attention over time! NOTHING beats cast iron, but ONLY if the cast iron cookware is cared for perfectly, and this lady knows how to do it. Next, notice how she used just the right amount of seasonings without using too much, and she kept her skillet temperature perfect and constant throughout. This is food any of us would be lucky to eat. If you want another option, toast a good bun and make an amazing talapia sandwich! Toast some good buns, brush with mayonnaise or tartar sauce, add a couple thin slices of pickle, and shake a few drops of your favorite hot sauce on the fish! OH MAN!!!!! Thank you!
Tried this recipe last weekend. Turned out great! Thank so much. Also I appreciate how the video was produced - straightforward, without a lot of useless information or distractions like dogs barking in the background, or a TV on in the next room. Well done in every aspect.
I just made these for dinner! Thank you! They were amazing. I don’t like tilapia much because it doesn’t taste like anything but these condiments worked very well! I made them as crispy fish tacos. I paired the tilapia with a simple guac (avocado, lime, salt, garlic salt, fresh parsley) stuck it all in a crispy taco and it was amazing! Thank you 😊
I just made this last week. I swear it was so yummy with some baked potatoes. Thanks Precious for putting this good and simple recipe out there for us to see.
Wow. I usually bake or fry my tilapia, as that's how my mom did it and it's just how I usually make it. But I LOVED this pan searing method! The fish was delicious and the spices were simple. My youngest (who's favorite protein is fish) loved it!! He said it was perfect(: and my my grandmother (who isn't a fish person) said if I made it this way, she'd eat it everyday! Thank you so much for this simple and delicious recipe! I will definitely be subscribing for more ❤😋
Awesome recipe and so simple. Thank you. Since I from India I made some small changes. I added a tea spoon of turmeric powder and instead of olive oil I used Mustard oil the flavor of which I grew up with. Plus I added ginger powder too. Came out awesome. Thank you for your recipe.
I’m going to be making these every week! So easy and delicious! After the tilapia was done I plated it and added a bit more evo, some fresh mushrooms and baby spinach to the same pan and sautéed those for a couple of minutes. 😋
Making this tonight! I always make tilapia with a garlic cilantro cream sauce but I'm on a clean diet right now so I was looking for a flavorful recipe that can accommodate that! I'm so excited. I'll be eating with a side of brown rice and green beans
Beautiful you have my son and I ready to sear our Talapia! We are serving this up withJasmine rice and Zucchini nests ....mmmm subbed, love and thank you Precious
I made this yesterday. It was delicious. Thanks. I used a nonstick skillet and served it with sautéed spinach, french bread, and baked plantains. Yummy,
Just tried this. Easy to make and sooooo good. Thanks for the video. Appreciate you keeping it short and simple! Ingredients: Oil Salt Pepper Garlic powder Paprika Basil
I turned to RUclips this evening for a quick Tilapia fillet recipe and 1st in search was yours and I must say that though dinner was late this evening, no one complained because it was super delicious. Thank you Precious!
Yummy im literally about to cook this. Thanks for the recipe! ***Update*** WAS VERY DELICIOUS!!! I made tilapia the exact same way with jasmine rice with corn and sliced avocado! On point 👌 that paprika really adds a smokiness and spice to the fish 10/10 recommend it!
This turned out FANTASTIC! Very simple and easy recipe. The lime was a very nice touch. No need to overcomplicate things. I served mine with a rice medley and roasted parmesan/garlic cauliflower. Great job Precious!
Praise report being a lazy cook, I thought it seem dumb to pat the fish dry but I decided if I was going to get all the stuff, I needed to do it right I am so glad I did, it came out incredible!!! Had a Spinach salad, with tomatoes and cheese
Looking for Tilapia recipes and your video popped up. Thank you for this fabulous way to cook Tilapia because everyone else was dipping it in white flour. Can't do that on Keto. You're awesome and I love your island accent. 😊❤
I watched this video for the first time 3 days ago and I have been cooking this recipe for 3 days now. I have a 30 minute lunch break and was frustrated because it takes me at least 25 minutes to bake my Tilapia. So, this method was extremely helpful because it only takes about 8 minutes!!! I did not think it would taste this great with so little ingredients.
4 minutes each side? They are as dry as shoe leather. Luckily I did only 2 fillets at that time. Then I tried different times. 2 minutes on first side and 1 minute on second side was perfect and delicious served over tossed salad. Thanks for recipe.
So I came across this recipe today and I'm trying this,I have NEVER cooked fish before. Went to the grocery to get fresh Tilapia. I made this for dinner and it was a hit. So simple, no crazy ingredients. Will definitely do this again. Thank you so much.
That looks so delicious!!! I've always put my tilapia in the fridge and let it marinate. I think that was a mistake! I'm going to let it get room temperature from now in. Thank you for a simple recipe.
Hi Precious, you're definitely a skilled cook who knows her way around the kitchen, and I must say what a lovely kitchen you have. You add such tasty spices and you have expertise in blending those spices. the tilapia will be a feast on any table.
I just made it and its delicious. I made white rice with celery and onions and served with a splash of lemon juice on the rice when served. Family ❤️ it.
Wow. Came right on time for some special weekend things. I can't wait to try this . The way you eat it eh aunti Precious, chai😋😋😋,Ma langa spirit done wake up 😇😇😇.
Miliva M. Njeg can you do the seasoning while the fish is getting to room temperature, or should you wait until it’s at room temperature before starting anything. Just got back from the store with the fish.
i tried this exact recipe. I had much smaller fillets and also decided to add cayenne. I never knew spices could make things so HOT. I definitely need to stick to the recipe next time... however, the fish itself was PERFECTLY cooked

Awww you are so welcome. Glad you loved it!
Lol. Why did you season the filets and AFTER you rub olive oil on. Haha. So backwards. You're just rubbing all of your seasoning off of the filets.
Aunty Precious i'm already salivating 😊👄😍
Thank you, dear.
Trying this tommorow,it's going to be my first time cooking fish
