Straight forward and to the point. With great tips. No wasted food, ingredients, or time! Thanks
. . . he has covered the Filets in cheep standard flavoring and flour and then he browned them in a pan with butter and olive oil while he exuded a lot of babbling. . . so where is the point ?
What a perfect way to cook Tilapia! I did it only a little differently to please the Korean tongue. I added vinegar to get rid of the peculiar smell of Tilapia and I sift the flour through a steel strainer not to waste flour. It turned out very tasty. Thank you.
Where did you add vinegar?
@@CircleOfInevitabilityhe added the vinegar in his kitchen
@@brickcity9mm896 I think he meant where was the vinegar used, I imagine it was used in Korea
@@CircleOfInevitability He added the vinegar on Earth, a planet in the solar system, somewhere in the Milkieway Galaxy.
LMAO i love this reply thread
I just did this recipe and it is easy and very tasty :)
One small modification on my end: I hate the fishy smell, so I soaked the fish filets in 2% milk for 1hour in the fridge. Then followed the recipe exactly - dry the fish, spice it etc... Thank you so much for sharing and showing the process

Dying to do mine later today, with a potato tasting side after a few Estrella Jaliscos (Mexican brew). Have a cool weekend and "Liked"

Another winner Mr. Coit! Looks delicious and I'm going to try it. Do you think Cod would do just as well? I don't do Tilapia ever since I read what some farms feed them. UGH!

Mhhh never heard of adding a little oil to preserve butter that's nice as it really does dissappear 👌👌👌
I love it. It is delicious 😋 talipia fish.
😋
This turned out awesome. I liked the idea of locking in teh flavors then flouring it.. mine just turned out amzing . Thanks for the vid .. great seasoning.
Any suggestions on the salmon because I can’t stand the taste of salmon and it’s really good for you, but maybe I’m just cooking it wrong. Any suggestions would be great
Thankyou, now I know how to cook delicious tilapia
Great!
can you share some hasha i like to eat tilapia yummy
Yum
Looks delicious 🤤 I’m making these next weekend. Can I use peanut oil instead of olive?
I love this 😍 will try asap
Great to hear!
I loved your recipe it was awesome, thank you so much. The only thing I would change is to next time season your flour it will give it alot more flavor. But overall good.
That’s a great addition.
what would you season the flour with?
@@crawfishdig the same seasons 😉
Yes, this is a great idea! I seasoned mine with some paprika and a bit of a crushed chicken bouillon cube and it added so much (no salt in the flour 🧂 because I was scared of it being too salty) :) the recipe from this video is delicious!!
Thank you for this easy technique. Made it for lunch today. Followed all your tips, except used Zatarains Fish Fri instead of flour.
Fantastic. And how did it turn out for you?
@@cookingwithcoit delicious!
Amazing video! can I use corn starch instead of flour?
Nice baked fish. Only I would marinate with fresh garlic and spices.
Thank you!
Wow that looks delicious 😋!
Thank you!!
@@cookingwithcoit you’re welcome! I made some today but mine did not come out as good as yours did!
👍👍👍👍👍
Perfect. Comes out taking of chicken.
question u add a little oil for the season to stick or it's not needed just in the pan
Do you use low mid or high temp on the stove?
I'm About to make this today, it look so delicious.

Glad you liked it
What sides do you pair it with?
What is the temp for the pan?
What temperature? 👀
To add to MrChaddles comment below - Simple to follow, no unnecessary palaver, and Bob's your uncle. Thank you!
I broil these in a toaster oven, on both sides, with olive oil as a non stick agent. I am not sure if I am making these correctly. However, they are coming out better than when I used to just throw in frozen whiting fillet(Stopped eating because of the bone) in there, haha.
Yes, I cheat and put Old bay as seasoning on one side of each fillet.
Awesome, that sounds really great! Toaster ovens can do so much, love that you are using one.
Hi Justin this looks Amazing!! Can you share with me what kind of portable stove top that is you are using? I am searching for the perfect fit and i really like yours. Simplicity & Efficiency
Hi- I use the Breville Control Freak. It’s expensive but amazing: amzn.to/3Obd6Xv
what is heat like on your burner???? high flame? low flame??
Just made this today, thanks for the lesson.. I used a regular non stick pan, any advice on not having the oil and butter burn and get dark?
Are you using olive oil? Remember he says in the video that the olive oil is used to prevent butter from burning. I use olive oil only. No butter. I also dip fillet in (scrambled) egg before frying.
You should try it with Lemon Peper Seasoning, Badia All purpose seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt. Before seasoning coating the fish with lemon juice.
Can we do the same thing without the all purpose flour?
thanks man, but degree of heat applied to this pan during cooking is crucial.. please let me know. high, medium, low?
Also are you using a cast iron pan?
Do you use real butter or is it just regular butter out of a tub I couldn't really make it out that's why I'm asking ???? I'm getting ready to start to cook fish and it's going to be all new to me starting this week and the only tilapia I found is the Frozen vacuum sealed at Walmart is that okay to use after I un- thaw it... I seen videos where people bake it from Frozen in the oven but I'd like to try different ways to get us all eating healthier ... I don't see where I can get fresh fish yet .... Great video always a like 👍👍
