Protocol for Thawing iPSCs

In this video, we will go over the protocol to thaw induced pluripotent cells (iPSCs).
List of materials:
- Frozen cryovial of iPSCs
- 70% ethanol
- Matrigel-coated dish
- iPSC media at room temperature
- Y-27632 (ROCK inhibitor)
- DMEM/F12 supplemented with 1x Antibiotic-Antimycotic
- 37 °C water bath
- Plastic and glass serological pipets
- Pipette aid
- 15 mL conical centrifuge tubes
- Sterile pipette tips
- Pipette
- Forceps
- Liquid nitrogen transfer container
- Centrifuge
- Light microscope
- 37 °C/5% CO2 cell culture incubator
