I have had the same exact watch for 20 years. I wear it almost every day and it still looks new. It is the best blue dial I have ever found. I will give it to my son one day!
My uncle just gifted me a 15210, same exact looking watch. Even on my 7 inch wrist, it looks very classy. Nothing but compliments on it so far, and I’ve only had it on my wrist for a day. Blows my mind that for a “like new” replacement band, with packaging…it’s 1500+ bucks. For the band alone. 😳 My second most expensive watch (now) is an MTG that cost as much as this band does to replace! 🤣 I’m a typical Rolex guy… but I’ve got to say… there isn’t much else out there for watches, that looks as good on the wrist. As far as better? I’m sure even fewer.
I am looking to possibly buy the same model, do you know the actual size of it? I know it says 34 mm, but the 36 mm Explorer is 35.1 mm. Thanks so much!
Your 15210 34mm Rolex looks so much better than the 39mm you have as the dimensions and proportions of the flatness in the deep round dial and similar outside bezel. Why Rolex discontinued the 34mm series is a tragedy. The new Rolex watches are not just gargantuan and ugly but not practical. I would even have reservations about your 39mm explorer as you will find yourself favoring the 34mm for reasons it will take your lifetime to understand.
anthony bourdain's watch is a similar one of 34mm size, either 1500 or 15000 series , NOT a OP Datejust 36mm (as many online watch sources misquoted or claimed ) but OP date (hodinkee article is right) , just the bezel is smooth , yours is engine turned . i am considering another rolex 15053 with 18K bezel engine turned bezel and 2 tones 18 k bracelet. Sorry. i just recheck...you are correct ( i wrong ) , indeed the same watch as this one.
I own a rolex vintage gold 18k yellow oyster perpetual day _ date hass diamond but on 9 and six others has not the baguette diamond on it other diamonds are round can u tell me why its different
Considering buying one myself, but I'm worried about the movement. Is it robust enough to handle magnets surrounding us? And will it require frequent expensive maintenance? Please help me with my worries @philandwatches
Hey there. The movement is pretty robust in these. I've worn mine frequently around computers, electronics and heavy duty machines. It is running within +-5 secs per day so i dont think youll have to worry about magnetism. It will not require maintenance unless it is dropped or water damaged. The movement should run 10+ years without maintenance. And even if it requires service, older rolex movements are not especially difficult so you can probably go to local watch maker instead of sending for service. Hope this helps, thanks. -Phil

Just found one of these at a pawn shop for $3750 so happy with my very first rolex
What do you think about the older models of Rolex?

Same watch me. 👍🌹
More Chelsea in videos !!!!
i had one regret selling it
Hahahaha “5”!😂
It’s a woman’s size
It's a man's watch, that can also be worn as a larger-than-average womans watch too. What's not to like about that combo, eh?
Only for a very big and fat woman.
