Experiencing turbulence is just normal when riding a plane regardless if it's an Airbus A320, ATR-72 or larger planes like Boeing 777 or Airbus A350. As long as you're following safety procedures and protocols everything will be fine :)
It has been said that ATR is a safe plane as it glides in the air . Was scared the 1st time i had it from Ilo to Cebu . But I got used to flying with ATR many times after .

All crashes are due to human errors. If the companies inform and train their pilots sufficiently there will be no problem (icing) in other words follow the procedures when they must be respected (maintenance also) The Finns and Swedes use the atr 72 in the middle of winter and there has never been a problem with icing. Some companies should take two or three training courses in the countries mentioned above. I will fly every day on ATR-72 but not with any company.
Pag may LPA talagang expect ka ng turbulence… pag sunny weather, kung minsan merong clear-air turbulence. Parang mixture of hot and cold air colliding.. 🙏🏻

As far as i know all of the aviation company here in thr philippine never experienced tha incident on atr.. Maybe what you are saying happened on different countries except philippines
Had a flight the previous day to Manila, sobrang turbulent din, mga 10 mins lang naka-off yung seatbelt sign, I think twice din nag drop yung plane. Overall a bad weekend to fly due to the low pressure area haha
Paanong hindi nag cacare ang cebu pacific sa turbulence first time ko sumakay sa cebu pacific lagi nila ino on yung seatbealt indicator dahil laging may konting turbulence.. Edi ibig sabihin may care sila sa mga passenger
I will not fly Cebu Pacific again. It was a worst nightmare for me. Took off sounds like tearing wings, to much shakey..tingin ako sa mga katabi ko, nagdasal nman sila..
Base on my experience dipende lang siguro sa panahon. In fact during one of my flight from Cebu to Ozamiz kalit lang nag drop ang eroplano 2 times and the plane nga among gisakyan is the bigger one. The Airbus 320.

Mahina to 0 po ang signal ng mobile device kapag nasa itaas na. Also, most aircraft po now ay nabablock na nila ang signal ng mobile device kaya wala ka po talagang signal kapag nasa itaas na. Like AirAsia na nasakyan namin, wlaa talaga akong signal nung nasa loob na ako ng plane

Hope they will use the airbus again. Much comfortable to fly compared to atr’s.
Atr's is 50 percent Airbus and 50 percent Leonardo. It's a partnership on this two aircraft manufacturer.

@@randellt 12 accidents ranging from 1988 to 2024 isnt that scary. most of the accidents were from pilot errors so no problem :)
