Ive always wondered if you have a front mount inter-cooler, an aircon condenser and then your radiator... will it have an effect on the motors cooling?
Good job, for the oil stump. I swapped mine with a HiAce stump of their 1KD engine. I installed a 1KD engine into my BJ74 Landcruiser. a fair bit of modification needed to mix and match up the new with old. I used a complete Hilux wire harness to replace old harness which I stripped out. With new harness. I stripped off all wires not needed. Was a 5 months project on my own and first time ever doing engine swap. Going strong after 3 years now.
Full respect guys, just done an auto to manual swap on my 3rd gen surf. What an absolute nightmare .Ended up having to put the whole manual loom and ecu to work. How you do a major swap like this is impressive

I am like right near Yatala pies so will be coming to see the Kaizan boys soon! Keep one of everything ready for me. I am still IFS no SAS swap but that will have to wait for later. Ceramic coat all your cooler pipes hot and cold side as well as your intake pipe. The thermal protective properties and corrosion protection are advantagous in a spicy unicorn like this build

Hey guys. I am from Brazil. I have a Hilux Ln106 swapped 1KD. However, I use it with a mechanical injection pump from the 4m40 engine and mechanized nozzles!
That s probably the hornest LN106 almost. You young guys will laugh back in 1995 i bought a brand new ln106 and cut it up to put range rover suspension on it safari turbo huge 33 tyres ha ha which was nuts back then . Look forward to your coil conversion . 👍✌
Fair enough . The nineties were the peak of goodness its all gone backwards since ha ha the coils is a major undertaking maybe upgrade the brakes next discs all round of a 80 series work well. 👍✌
