    Just updated to the latest nightly build and I cant see the 3D scope plugin

      I don't know if you saw this but that plugin was removed as the 3D scope portion became unstable and was crashing the application entirely. I don't expect it back any time too soon unfortunately.

      Unfortunately, the author of the 3-D modeling ran into many problems and could never seem to get it to the point where it wouldn’t crash. It was causing so many crashes that it was removed from the product.

      Depending on how you control your mount, an alternative approach to something like EQMOD would be the green swamp server, which does provide this 3D type of view directly there. So there may be an alternative available for you.

    So can the 3D help set meridian flip limits?

      No, it is purely a visual. You would use something like EQMOD for that, or your mount driver. There is a plugin called "Smart Meridian Flip" that can help set more complex limits based on your gear and various obstructions at varying declinations.
