Somehow missed this one Dylan (I generally watch all your videos). As a dad of four I can certainly empathise with the situation and send you my best wishes for a speedy recovery. Delighted you have embraced NINA. For me it was absolutely game changing. The support via Discord is fantastic too (Stefan seems to be active pretty much 24/7!). I sincerely hope all goes well health wise. I know what you mean about the clouds, I am in Geelong and I think you can the clear nights we have had this year on my fingers. I have use my obs so rarely this year the lemon tree has started blocking the rolling roof, so I decided to buld a man shead and I am learning how to use a mini mill and lathe to make metal bits (Useful ones hope).

I went from "meh" when I heard people talking about it to "yeah!" when I actually started using it a few times, found it really easy to get up and running (but I also don't have a dome hah). Thank God you're back. I started photographing the northern lights because I forgot how to use my telescope in your absence. You started me down this rabbit hole 2 years ago when I stumbled upon your channel by chance. Only astronomy one I watch. Astro backyard as well, cause he's local talent for us Canucks

All I listen to is metal, the harder and faster the better and Entropy made it into my top 50 played songs last year. In this day and age where every song is a finger tap away from listening to it, that's some high marks that Entropy achieved.

Great to see you back. I know that pain. My youngest, Millie, was born with congenital heart disease. Before her 1st birthday she flatlined, had two strokes and three open heart surgeries. After 11 years she's now imminently pending her 4th. Don't mind admitting I'm terrified all over again. I'm so glad to hear he's doing okay right now. From one parent to another, my thoughts and my prayers ❤️🙏

I really love your videos Dylan. You make me laugh, when I least expect it....for that, you are a gem in my eyes. I'm so happy you are okay and very sad to hear what you've been going through with your son's sickness. Sounds like things are much better (YAY!!!) and I am thinking of you and your son and wishing for great news to continue. Thank you for sharing, as you are right, it really isn't anyone's business but yours. You have a huge support group behind you giving you tons of good energy and vibes to get through this and back to normal for both you and your son. I'm not going to say "Thoughts and prayers".....but just "thoughts" because if prayers worked, the big daddy in the sky wouldn't have let it happen in the first place which would make that big daddy a sadistic son of a b$#%#.

Fell in love with EKOS/INDI using KStars. Not convinced NINA is a good replacement, but if it works seamlessly on Windows alone, I can see why it'd be more popular and take everything by storm.
Wanted to say I'm familiar with spending time with a boy in and out of the hospital under serious circumstances. You're there for him, and that's what matters. About this video, man aren't those refurb computers great? I got one recently almost exactly like the one you have (optiplex 7050, i7 7th gen, 32GB) and what a difference! Stacking was taking hours in my old laptop (with a "sophisticated" cooling system comprising a bunnings usb fan to keep it from crashing due to overheating!!), now it's a matter of 15-20 min.
