This game is almost 30 years old and it has aged so well. It has the perfect balance between simple fun, challenge, amazing pixel arts and sweet low bit music. It is a true masterpiece that any kid today could handle and enjoy without feeling it looks outdated. Obviously 2d is outdated but because this game didn't try "too hard" it ages so well in comparison to some other game of its era.
Castles are easy too. They should make a remake with more challenging levels now that people have a grasp of Mario controls. I really feel it's due outside of Kaizo remakes.

I’m here for inspiration. I’m trying to create a Mario Maker 2 castle level, using the SMW, theme. It’s really hard. It makes me appreciate the level designs of these castles, so much more. They’ve created a mix between fun, simply, yet challenging enough.

I always comes to the castles for not only the unique levels, but the MUSIC. No other Mario platformer has its feel. Remember the L + R code.
