Anyone who’s seen the lmp2 cars in person can attest that they sound incredible. Super loud, and they sound like crackling thunder in the downshifts. Shame no gtp but the Lmp2 cars are so amazing ! They were flying at Watkins glen!
Robert Wickens is still racing? I thought he was done for after that Indycar accident which left him in a wheelchair. Huge respect to him for not giving up on racing.
Very nice video. Well made. Feel sad for Canadians that will miss the GTP cars and embarrassed for the championship for not having the supply chains and resources to supply enough spares and transport capacity to have race in Canada.
Feels like AO racing is probably going to step up again, but I would love to see either pfaff or vettes take this race and really start closing the gap in championship points
something that never gets mentioned is the battle for the Lemans bid for bronzes in GTD. currently i believe Orey Fidani leads Sheena Monk and Brendan Iribe
I get that IMSA is trying to showcase their other classes with these GTP-less contests, but the Hypercar series is several races short of a full schedule IMO.
Paul is spot on here. There's much more to the series than just the top class, this is the time to shine for the LMP2 class and we're still in for a great race!

Broadcasters need to show more of the other classes and the fights for position. Watching only the GTP for hours gets boring.
If they still end up talking about GTP all of this weekend then I think we're in trouble haha
