before you let it on the floor you have to cover up little holes that your berdie cant get in what you can use are shirts and if they are tiny holes use under wear or maybe even socks

I totally agree to take them out in the few hours you have them. I wanted to just let him chill on my hand and then put him in my cage just to let him know I’m not going to do anything to hurt him! But if your bearded dragon is jumpy and start acting stressed then just leave your Beardie alone until it gets used to it’s new environment

I had this problem and I took care of it after a couple weeks, so if you’re still having this problem this should help: try hand feeding, don’t go to pick them up if they’re threatened, then try petting them; then gradually let them on your hand still I’m the tank, then pick them up. Take it steady :)

She is estimated to be around 8 weeks? but before she got into her last home she was wild (they rescued her from the wild at around 1 week). any time for her to trust me more? i’m worries if i take her out she will run off and hide and we won’t be able to find her since we’re not sure how tame she is x

Hi just a questoin i did look up about dearded dragons but i have hade mine about a a couple months now and i went away and came back now he wont let me touch him at all he will bite me and go fat and i try and touch him but her wount and i cant catch him to let him out and i have 4 dogs 2 cát and a snake i share my room with my cat and my cat is called pepper and she killed my other dragon so i think that is that is wrong with him but what should i do

Yeet Fam Place the food in a good bowl and try to place the insects so their underneath the fruits and veggies. This way he has to eat through them so he can reach everything underneath. Continue to offer a variety of veggies and see if he gains a particular interest for some

I wanna agree with this video, because even wild lizards (that people never keep it as pets) can be tamed by petting them and holding them every day. When I was 10yrs old and so, I always went for lizard hunting in our backyard because I wanted to have a pet lizard very much! After 2-3 days they were accepting food from me, and they were just soo chill like a pet animal bc I hold them everyday. I tamed wild lizards with this method, even tho I had to catch them very fast, it was wild, like Steven the crocodile hunter did I just did jump on them, grab it on the neck they were fighing, they did hate me for this I'm pretty sure xD but after a few days they became pets. Obviously, I released them back to the wild after a week or two because I couldn't bring them home. Now I just got a baby dragon today, and I believe that it will be okay for it if I tame it everyday:)
He never ran off? I think Egypt my son's baby dragon would run off. I hold him and I think he like it. I hold him and when I put him in his cage I lay my hand flat and he just sits on in for a few minutes before running off.
My bearded dragon is still pretty young but when I hold him he likes to try to run off. He won’t if I have my hands over his back. Is there anything I can do to prevent that?
Bluejay Warriorcats If she is still a baby, you might want to cover any holes or openings with a blanket (like under your bed or dresser) so she doesn't go under them and get stuck. That way you can take her out and not have to worry! :)

I’m so sad because when I brought my baby boy home (his name is Bumper), the store told me to keep him in his cage for 3 days without picking him up or holding him :( I really wish I wouldn’t have listened. I obviously wouldn’t want him to get stressed, but I wish I would’ve taken him out to get him used to me and other people. :(
Luckily I have a decent sized house, so we have a extra room that has absolutely NOTHING in it, we call it the cat room because we have a few cats. The position of the aquarium creates a mirror affect at night. When I put the room lights on my dragon sees his reflection. It drives him crazy. I have put a border around the back of the aquarium but it still reflects. I only have a small room and can not move the aquarium. Any suggestions?
AnE PeAr you should keep both the heat lamp and the uvb light on for 12 hours and then off at night for 12 hours. I don’t really don’t that-but you definitely want to give them some time without the lights

I was thinking about getting a bearded dragon but I don’t know where I should get it . Some people say breeders and some say pet stores .. and because I have been watching a lot of your videos I was wondering if you could tell me where I should get my bearded dragon from . 🤷🏻♀️
My baby bearded is fine when I stick my hand in his cage or feed him in his cage but when I try to pick up and hold him he jumps out of my hands and he gets very skittish- I’ve watched many videos and I don’t know what to do.- he is about 4-6 months
I wanna agree with this video, because even wild lizards (that people never keep it as pets) can be tamed by petting them and holding them every day. When I was 10yrs old and so, I always went for lizard hunting in our backyard because I wanted to have a pet lizard very much! After 2-3 days they were accepting food from me, and they were just soo chill like a pet animal bc I hold them everyday. I tamed wild lizards with this method, even tho I had to catch them very fast, it was wild, like Steven the crocodile hunter did I just did jump on them, grab it on the neck they were fighing, they did hate me for this I'm pretty sure xD but after a few days they became pets. Obviously, I released them back to the wild after a week or two because I couldn't bring them home.
Now I just got a baby dragon today, and I believe that it will be okay for it if I tame it everyday:)

He never ran off? I think Egypt my son's baby dragon would run off. I hold him and I think he like it. I hold him and when I put him in his cage I lay my hand flat and he just sits on in for a few minutes before running off.
My bearded dragon is still pretty young but when I hold him he likes to try to run off. He won’t if I have my hands over his back. Is there anything I can do to prevent that?
I would let mine go in my room (i have had her a week) but I'm scared she will get stuck under furniture
Bluejay Warriorcats If she is still a baby, you might want to cover any holes or openings with a blanket (like under your bed or dresser) so she doesn't go under them and get stuck. That way you can take her out and not have to worry! :)

I was definitely impressed. Have wanted a bearded dragon since my first Herp Show. I fell in love with some well socialized, extremely intelligent, unbelievably affectionate dragons. This kind of vivarium and your ideas on socializing make sense to me. More healthy for the species.

I’m so sad because when I brought my baby boy home (his name is Bumper), the store told me to keep him in his cage for 3 days without picking him up or holding him :( I really wish I wouldn’t have listened. I obviously wouldn’t want him to get stressed, but I wish I would’ve taken him out to get him used to me and other people. :(
Luckily I have a decent sized house, so we have a extra room that has absolutely NOTHING in it, we call it the cat room because we have a few cats. hey taylor! i LOVE your videos and i really want my baby beardie to like me but he seems really stressed and breaths heavily when i hold him and my room has lots of small nooks and crannies (like under my bed and my old style vents) and i really want to let him room around but i’m really scared and worried about him but i also want him to love me ahhhh i dunno any ideas??

Might be a dragon I took it out for one day he jumped out of my hand fell on the floor I picked it up tell them and put them back in the cage and I tried it again the next day and he ran away from me in the next day I tried he let me touch him now he won’t let me touch them at all because I’m a little afraid of him because he pushed out his beard and he tries to bite me. What do you if they go to bite you
The position of the aquarium creates a mirror affect at night. When I put the room lights on my dragon sees his reflection. It drives him crazy. I have put a border around the back of the aquarium but it still reflects. I only have a small room and can not move the aquarium. Any suggestions?

Add a border onto the other sides too and one on the front that’s about as high as him, but doesn’t cover the entire thing.

AnE PeAr you should keep both the heat lamp and the uvb light on for 12 hours and then off at night for 12 hours. I don’t really don’t that-but you definitely want to give them some time without the lights
