I’m still waiting for my stroker rotating assembly for my 6.0 ls 12+ week wait k1 with wiseco .0010 over so 406 going with the 823 heads. But nice video keep them coming
In the old days they used to have signs that said "Don't talk to the operator while the machine is in use". Maybe you can rig a clock spring on your press.....
Daughter:"Mom wants to know where the awesome is?" MrHevyShevy:" Right here, sitting in this chair!" Daughter:"I don't think that's what she meant." Well!😆
Was that our Little Miss that just passed through? If so, she's a beautiful young woman! It's incredible that we got to watch her and the Little Man grow up. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your family!
Yep, go for reliability. Put the stock rebuilt heads on it, stick it in the ‘57. It will be more than Mrs Hevyshevy will want, and it will last a long time. Then you can take the corvette heads and put them on a hotter engine and drop it in one of the square body trucks!
@@tomscarborough8958 ,lol, true enough. She does have a heavy foot sometimes. But I think that little warmed over 6.0, with some headers and a decent exhaust, will run circles around her truck. And since it’s fairly stock, it will make the ‘57 a reliable cruiser.
Very cool looking press. And a great back story too. Hope you find that keeper. The small parts are always the ones that get lost!! Be safe and stay well.
Use stock rockers, replace the lifter trays, there the wear item and only thing keeping the lifters square to the cam. You are right about the Cathedral port heads, the true LS2 in the GTO's were 400 hp with them. Sell those aftermarket rockers, HS is a great name but stock rockers are good up to about 800hp. The cam will make all the difference as well. It is critical to call and talk with the experts, the people making the parts to get the right combination of parts for your specific build. Also remember one very important thing, the LS style engines are nothing like your SBC, nothing is crossed over.
I got to ask does that dam roster ever shut the hell up? Also was glad to hear that your little pup is going to be OK from last weeks vid. May the force be with us in these trying times!
That's a cool press. It can work (looks to me) like a standard gear arbor press, or by inserting a handle in that threaded collar, like a small fly press. You can put quite a bit of pressure with that threaded shank, if you wanted to. That might be how they broke the cast neck on it. 🤔Anyhoo, nice piece of machinery. 👍
After you refused my offer to move in with you and family I downsized. Small house small yard. My old place also got too cluttered so I would just add a new garage stall or new garage but it was too much too take care of anymore because I got old which caught me by surprise! New home I already built a new garage. Go figure.
Rare appearance from the oldest
Super rare.

That was the oldest.
@@MrHevyshevy Thanks Buddy, all of your family members are good-looking, and they are good people!
If I had to get on the floor like that to look for anything I might need help getting up again or just crawl to the house! 👍🇨🇦

That "AWESOME" is good stuff....almost as good as PURPLE POWER :)
What machine shop did you take that too?

That was weird, this video didn't show up on my feed. The other one did though.
Love the time warps back you put in the beginning or end of the videos! So fun. That was an awesome trip, btw.

I don’t even hear him anymore.
Pay Attention.....watch those fingers....
