I have an 09 G8 GT and I have grand plans for it. I want to supercharge it some day, have it repainted frost white with a black roof, black spoiler, brembo brake kit, aftermarket sound system, and a list of other mods. I would like to give it to my 9 month old son when he turns 16 some day if I can get him interested in my passion for cars. I think it would mean a lot to him to hand him the keys to a relic of the Pontiac brand.
You said it was an LS3 but the GT’s had L76’s. The LS3 was in the GXP and made 415hp and 415 torque The L76 was in the GT and made 361hp and 384 torque.
been debatin getting a G8 for a while, what is major difference between GXP & GT. This car would look better without the black stripe, the spoiler & maybe a set of staggered cragars with NASCAR style lettered tires... My opinion of course
Vine Wood the GT was fit with a 6.0 derivative of the ls2, the LY6. And I manual transmissions weren't an option. The GXP had the 6.2 LS3 in them and had an option for a 6 speed manual

Vine Wood, Two major differences between the two are 54hp gain and an manual transmission option for the GXP.

Get your facts straight. The GT doesn't have an LS3. There were 25 GT Firehawks made while 9 of them were a 570hp GXP
