Just did all my coil overs, bmr rear end kit, front suspension done, carrier bearing, wheel bearings, now gonna do the rear subframe bushings and diff bushings. Might as well, then BTR stage 3 cam kit done. Great video
Those G8's are awesome little unknown gems. I just installed the power leather seats out of one in my 71 Camaro. Although I think they were only available for a couple years (08 and 09... correct me if I'm wrong) I'd buy and drive one.
@@pontiacmaniac7772 I seen one before, i think it was called "oreo" it was white. I have v6 and wanted to swap the engine but the transmission is giving me problems once again (one year after it was swap.) And I don't want to deal with it again
So how did all of this workout? Would you say all of this urethane would be annoying on a daily driver? Could you tell a big difference after all of this work was done?
The upgrades made drastically improved in the cars ride feel and handling. Yes there are more vibrations and feel more of the road but the pros outweigh the cons
Hey, I just bought a g8, and the rear end feels like it's swayting really bad on the highway. Would the new upper control arms and bushings fix this? Could I do those without dropping the subframe? Thanks
Welcome to the G8 crew! I believe the upper control arms Bushings and the control Arms themselves are the most looked over and biggest root for issues like that. My issue was the car felt like it was skating in the rear under heavy acceleration. The bushing require the cradle to atleast be dropped a few inches for access.
Toe on my alignment came out fine, plenty of adjustment. The issue is with Camber, I wasn’t able to gets than +1.0 degrees even with extended range camber bolts. Need adjustable lca for More Adjustment
A lot of the parts came from g8 only, the little odds and ends were sourced from all different websites to find the best prices, unfortunately no one makes a full kit
Can I ask a favor could you direct me on where to get the rear shocks you are putting on I've looked and can't seem to find them online so any help would be greatly appreciated thanku
Could you make a full list of everything you bought? Getting a G8 rebuild and it needs alot of stuff

G8's have a lot of body roll from the factory. Upgrading the end links and sway bars helps a lot.
Any suspension your recommend for the smoothest ride.
How much was the price I’m looking at the stage 2 kit for the g8 is that better or is your guys options superior.?
No this is stage 6.1 lol
part number on shocks
They are on G8only.com
Doesn't BMR state adjustable toe rods need to be used with the BMR lower control arms?

Did you have to tune for the diff or does it just work?
The gear ratio was close enough to originally but we still changed the shift points to match the new ratio
whats the rear cradle bushing product number
