The harsher your scrub pad the more you micro-scratch the glass and enamel lining of your oven. The scratches become scoring for future baked on grease to adhere to the surface. (Like when you lightly sand after each coat of paint for the next coat to adhere better.) For really stuck, baked on grease that didn't come off the 1st round try completly washing the first coat of cleaner off, then spraying on a thicker 2nd coat and leave on at least 2hrs. With the glass still wet with spray, take a razor blade type glass scraper (used for taking off paint splatter off glass) and gently scrape the glass. ALWAYS keep a wet film between the glass and the blade edge to prevent scratching the glass. The secret to oven cleaner is time. You need to spray it on thicker & leave it on way longer than the can says for it to chemically liquefy the baked on grease. I have a automatic cleaning cycle on my oven but it never cleans the door so I have to spray it with oven cleaner. I've been using EasyOff for 45 yrs. You should always mask off the cabinet next to the oven door with newspaper so as to not dull the finish on your cabinets with fine mist of oven cleaner. And lay newspaper down on the floor under and around your opened oven door so it catches over spray because the oven cleaner is lye and can ruin the grout on a tile floor, damage the sheen on a laminate floor or melt the vinyl and take the color out of it if the oven cleaner gets on it.

Have moved many times. Am getting too old to clean full sized ovens I barely use as some stoves seem to get very dirty after maybe only one or two uses. Don't care for a microwave to clean either. My best and favorite solution is a toaster oven with a convection. The toaster oven already works about 25 degrees less. The convection adds a bit more energy savings. It is counterweight, has a light and easier to view and handle with oven mitts my foods. The clean up on the pullout tray makes life nice. No more having to stick my head in an oven to clean out any materials.

I use baking soda and vinegar. Works great. No harmful fumes. Just mix vinegar and baking soda into a paste, apply to dirty areas and let it sit about 15 minutes and wipe out. I use a nylon scubbing pad on the tough spots.

Get easy off no fume oven cleaner. Spray it on shut the door and let it sit overnight. Next day take a wet rag to it. Wipes right off. If oven is dirty as one in video might have to sos it a little. I use a razor blade to get that leftover crud off inside glass door

Surprising that no one has mentioned those great oven liners you get at the Dollar Store. I buy two or three, wrap them in heavy duty aluminium foil, a couple of layers, and every time a layer gets soiled, just remove it, and you're good to go. I think I've had the same liners for about ten years, maybe more, and I just keep removing and replacing the foil. Cheap, lazy hack! I love it!

We were the last generation before everyone was too busy running kids to activities after working all day so we had time to help clean our homes. My nieces and nephews suffer from the same addiction 🙄

Don't use glass or ceramic to microwave water. Seriously. People always give goofy warnings but this is actually dangerous and I got hurt doing it. Use a plastic soup cup with a handle from dollar tree. It's way safer and easier to handle and the dish won't explode or let the water superheat

First of all, in almost ervery manual it states that you can not use abrasive things to clean the oven. This strips the protective layer and then it releases stuff that is not so great for you :( also you need to clean your oven just often. If you do it once a week. It only takes 5-10minutes. Some people say they do not have time. I mean come on. It is just an excuse. Lastly the oven isn’t even clean in this video at the end. Still a lot of brown spots left man. Just clean it often and it is no hassle.
