My all around cleaner that works on everything my mom told me about in the 1980s. It was from the Cancer Society and because I’m allergic to most cleaners it’s, in a large spray bottle, 1 1/4 cup white vinegar, 2 tsp of borax,1/4 cup dishwashing liquid, fill with hot water and if you want a fragrance use 20 drops of essential oils. This formula takes the lime scale off not only my shower walls but off my shower curtain. We have very hard water and I use this everywhere in my home. Cheap and it works!
Pink stuff great cleaner! No harsh chemicals and working amazing. I use it about 10 years. Definitely recommended.

Wait…..the Voice of Reason? I love it! Good for you to share your opinions 👍🏻 I have recently become fascinated by “cleaning videos” - and the array of cleaning products is astounding… overwhelming. Bar Keepers Friend has been around for well over a 100 years. It works! I need “no odor” products and I appreciate your comment on that. As for “antibacterial” - note that there is hype on that as well. Unless you are confronted with some nasty virus in your home (hello norovirus), there is NO NEED for antibacterial cleaning. The use of a cleaning product is to break the surfactant surface to which dirt and bacteria cling. Decent cleaning on a routine basis is sufficient. Thank you for your video - yes, I enjoyed it!
Yes I agree about the antibacterial stuff being overly hyped. I don’t use antibacterial anything unless it’s in the bathrooms. But ironically our family was hit hard this week and last week from Covid. So I went a little crazy buying antibacterial everything because of it 😂

I agree! I buy everything at least once and have slowly gone back to my blue Dawn dish soap, vinegar, plain bleach and regular cloths or sponges lol
yessss. It's funny how we always end up going back to our tried and true.
It took me awhile to realize only Dawn is worth buying
As a professional cleaner you can mix certain products to make them work better than the one. But also know for disinfectant cleaners to work properly you must leave them on the surface for a 5 min time span. That kaboom I use with clorox bleach cleaner to disinfect. Any cleaning solution must sit on whatever surface that it can be used on, I never use a magic eraser specifically for the fact that melamine will take paint off the walls and baseboards if used too often. What I use for cleaning dawn powerwash, a multipurpose, clorox bleach cleaner, a glass cleaner, and bar keepers cleanser. It also helps to know what type of cleaner will not damage your textiles.
Oh that is good to know. I’m not a huge bleach user but I do use it from time to time in certain areas like bathrooms. kaboom is already so strong I can’t imagine using bleach with it lol. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

Yes, you are correct. But there are other abrasive cleaners such as bar keepers friend as well as the jaws heavy duty cream cleanser that are not nearly as gritty or messy as the pink stuff. I tend to grab for those way more.
I am so glad that I am not the only person who The Pink Stuff doesn't work for. I am also not a big fan of scrub daddy.
Out of the scrub daddy products the scrub mommy is my favorite. I also really enjoy the damp duster from scrub daddy as well.
@@CrystalCleannnn I recently found a dish scrubber/washer called euroScrubby and I am liking it. It'll definitely last longer than scrub daddy and mummy

Agreeing with Crytal’s comment - I also like the Scrub Mommy. If ya need a bit of a scrub, it’s a good partner for the microfiber cloth.
Pink stuff and their whole line smells terrible. Think about grapefruits and mangos… now add strong vinegar.🤢Now consider that it doesn’t work well. Sold yet?
You are right about that. It does stink. I could look past the smell if the product was good but the product isnt that good either. lol
Oh my goodness, I'm SO guilty of being some of these! I wouldn't repurchase any of them, and you're right about the Kaboom fumes!
The kaboom fumes are insane and I am not even a scent sensitive person.
The Pink Stuff is the best I’ve found for my glass shower😊

Good morning to you, Mom of 6 here in Houston! I totally agree with you as a MAIN issue with every one of these is $PRICE$….expensive! Lordy! 😮. Bathroom cleaners, all the same and too many toxic fumes. Pink stuff? Expensive, Bar Keepers, cheap and doesn’t scratch. Yep, toothbrushes, old ones, repurposed. I use normal toilet cleaner, usually less than $2,:and a toilet brush. Wall cleaner, just use Dawn. You did an awesome job and I am a brand new subscriber!
As much as I love trying new things a lot of it is over hyped for sure. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment.

I hate the Pink Stuff. I will never buy it again. I wanted to love it because people all over the internet said it was such a miracle product. I have to scrub just as hard with this as other products. I have used it a few times and it's sat for years. I should just throw it away. I don't know why I keep it. Just my two cents. It didn't work for me. If you like it and it works for you, that's great.
I totally agree with you. I didn't love it or even like it for that matter. I will use it up because I did spend money on it but once it is gone its gone definitely wouldn't repurchase.
I bought the Pink Stuff toilet cleaner and it didn't do anything but temporarily dye my toilet pink. I've seen someone use the regular stuff in the tub and have it work but I'm dubious
Oh no! Was it the regular toilet bowl cleaner or the foaming powder? Either way that sucks. I haven’t tried any of the pink stuff products other than the paste. It’s just nothing special. 🤷♀️

My Aunts told me 24 years ago about using dawn dish soap and aqua net hairspray to remove ink from many things. The one I used most was to get ink off my leather purse when a pen exploded all over. I let it sit over night and gently wiped with damp cloth the next morning and all the ink was gone! A squirt of reg original blue Dawn and a spray of "rockwa net" hairspray left overnight amazing!!! 👍🏼👍🏼🤸🏼🧑🏼🔬🎉

I just didn't love it and thats okay. Not every product works for everyone.
I've found the yellow Awesome spray I get from the dollar store works great for most things I clean. Not a fan of the Pink Stuff.
