I'm really struggling with budget to get haas drivers or like tsunoda in because of recent DNFs. I'm running PER - STR - SAR - ALB - BOT - RED - FER with a budget of 104.6M. Any ideas on how to build my team for China and onwards? I'm thinking of using limitless on Miami to get triple red bull and triple ferrari in the first half of the season. Thoughts?
I don't understand how you were able to add up 10:44 - I literally built the same thing but don't have enough to add last driver in? Your total comes to 105.9mil how are you able to complete your team when you're over 5.9 mil?
You may lose on some budget gains which would then allow you to run Verstappen with a better driver. E.g., instead of Sargeant and Bottas, you may be gradually able to run Verstappen with RED FER STR and both Haas drivers
Hi, thanks for the vid. Are you sure if you make transfers before activating the limitless chip, for Miami I would get back my team from Japan and not the pre-limitless team for China?
I am not clear on this either and it definitely changes my strategy if so. If you make transfers before China, run the China GP, then two weeks later activate limitless for Miami, your transfers from before the China GP don't count and your Japan team comes back? I was under the impression that transfers you make after China but before limitless is activated Miami race week wouldn't count, and you would have your team that raced in China.
I'm also a Ferrari fan haha it's worked out well so far having Leclerc, but it's a very different team strategy approach going for a Max lineup vs a Perez/Leclerc/Sainz team
@@armazzoidze I already used it as this is my first time playing and watching F1 so I didn’t know about sprints before. But now I can say I have a good understanding of the dynamics and rules and I’m still managing 270+ games to gain the lead. I suggest you use the limitless in the next sprint race so maybe Miami or maybe even the one after. China it’s risky since it hasn’t been in schedule for 5 years and it might rain so dnfs won’t be a surprise
Just a quick question... If you take a -10 with 4 transfers made... If you then go and play the 'no negative' chip'... Will that mean the -10 gets wiped out?
Great video as always! I am in a similar situation, but I can stay with Hulkenberb instead of Albon, so I guess I'll stick with the VER REB FER BOT ZHO SAR build.
If a driver from a top team in the Sprint Qualifying started low down, such as a Ferrari or RB, would you consider bringing them in for overtake bonus and race position gained? Even if it’s just for the sprint
I have a question. It seems you can change your team after the sprint quali have taken place, which give points? How does that work? Cant i just make sure I stack bad qualifiers in the sprint to give my bargain buys increased odds? i.e. if Sar / Zhou and 19/20 they will be great buys since they will probably overtake a lot. I will prob run: Leclerc, Hulk, Mag, Stroll, Sar, Redbull / Ferrari. I think this will also be a good team for Monza in 3 races with the Haas speed and Ferrari upgrades coming to build budget instead of running max.
Yeah you're exactly right, we know from sprint quali who is qualifying in that session where, so you can just transfer in the budget drivers that start further back for extra positions gained/overtakes. Bit of a cheat code if you ask me!
How much of a worry do you have with the budget building option that a couple of unforeseen, but not impossible outcomes like Stroll or K Mag DNF etc where you might end up not being able to afford Max after the two next races have unfolded? What if SAR and ALB for example go up too much? I'm a bit worried about either situation; the Max + the dregs of the field or the "budget builder"
Fair, and I've thought of that too. I wonder if we are trying to be "too smart" by going for a budget building team? Sargeant and Bottas already saw some decent gains and it takes more ZHOU/ALB DNFs to see that idea of budget building disappear. So there is some reliance on those mid-priced drivers to DNF and Sargeant, for example, to go up $0.5m to see any traction. We may have seen a small sample size of that in Japan...but I will want Max in my team on a permanent basis by Imola at the latest
Cheers Rob - it’s close between us: 843 v 836 (with me slightly in the lead 😁). I think I’m going with Limitless in China - no telemetry from last for me to look at but it’s clear it’ll be 3 x RB, 3 xFER, plus another. Tempted by a Haas because of their straight line speed and strong DRS, but that’s by no means a locked in choice. Also - my mate’s grandad was called Fred Bull 😂
Thanks! and nice work, and I love your strategy. Haas could be a major differential on a limitless team, but I think I would be going for a lower owned asset, like a McLaren asset or Alonso...
Great video as always Rob! Coming into China, I am running PER - STR - HUL - ALB - BOT - RED - FER with 3 free transfers. I can afford the same VER - RED - FER - ALB - ZHO - SAR - BOT as you. I'd like to keep building my budget, because I think the points sacrificed for running without VER are worth it for the value increases. I will then run limitless in Miami and get two weekends of budget building for the price of one. That is my preferred strategy, but I am still open to running VER or using limitless in China.
I like the "two weeks of building budget for price of one" which is why I entertained LEC and company for one more week. I just think Max has even more upside on sprint weekends with more points on the table. Its points vs price gain...not an easy decision
I have a few options in which I can do and I’d want to know which one is best: So my first option is: Sainz, Fernando, Valtteri, Logan, and Nico Second option is Sainz, Stroll, double Haas, and Yuki. Third option is Perez, Stroll, Albon, Valtteri, and Yuki. I would also appreciate some possible other suggestions. Have a great rest of your day.
Option 2 and 3 is what I’m thinking. Fernando is a solid option but the Logan risk is probably scaring me just a little bit. I think Red Bull are outright favorites in China, so the Perez team marginally edges it for me
@@f1fantasyhub I decided to go option 2 because both Haas drivers have driven here before so with that experience I went with 2 hoping that I get something out of it. I think both will be pretty similar in terms of points but we’ll see how the race plays out.

I think that’s a great strategy. Perez is definitely the best DRSB option for China for non max builds. I like that lineup for points and budget gain
Would you rather have both Williams drivers or both Kick Sauber drivers?
Sauber for me. But it’s pretty even

My budget is 106.5
I don't understand why you can't just keep Verstappen for the entire season? You'll always end up having to re-buy him at a higher price.

I’m thinking about possibly going off meta Verstappen Red Bull Triple HAAS Stroll Yuki. This feels like a good budget building lineup ahead of Miami
This is my team minus stroll with Alonso instead
@@shivengoberdan8884 I can also afford that, I think stroll could be better for building budget since he’s under $15k threshold
@@OPTICXPROTOTYPE I just don't trust stroll. He can always crash out of nowhere and you can't have an AM driver who has those faults in him.
