Some of the biggest extroverts never give unsolicited opinions - my brother stays the life of the party, but you have to drag opinions out of him. On the flip side, I’m a huge introvert, but I share my opinion all of the time.

I have a lot of religious friends and family. I am an atheist, the only other atheist I know is my husband. Often times I see some of my religious friends posting really ignorant post and I want to say something, but never share my opinion because I don’t want to come off as disrespecting their beliefs, but they are at the same time they are disrespecting me. ooo wow actually what ade said about how there is a certain vulnerability to telling how you feel, i've never heard it phrased that way and THAT IS SO TRUE. i am someone who speaks my mind i am like Jeannie, but i also feeeel that vulnerability i think actually that is a difference between close friends vs regular. i mean exclusding the people that feel comfortable telling everyone what they think, there is actually a beautiful vulnerability in telling someone you trust an opinion.

I feel when someone asks to vent or open up good or bad you shouldn’t go adding your 2 cents but if you want my advise I’ll give it to you but don’t be mad when it’s something you don’t want to hear.
I feel opinions should be given only when invited into the conversation and once you state your opinions they either take it or leave it don’t keep reiterating what you had said months and weeks later

People shouldn’t speak their opinion all the time but at the same time not being able to speak your mind at all especially in a friendship is unhealthy too. There has to be a balance.
I’m thin and I’m always asked if I’m pregnant - just a fat stomach and my twins are 18 lol. It doesn’t really hurt anymore. Who’s asking is usually not thin lol
I used to always get asked if I was pregnant because my posture sucks from a car wreck. I was normally always skinny. Now that I’m 34 weeks along, I’ve gotten asked maybe a handful of times😂

I miss the show being just the 4 of them :( I feel like they have such good chemistry, they're so open and no filter with each other, they connect so well, and they get really funny. I feel like adding a 5th person threw that off a little.
Charlize Ceballos that’s a very fair point, Amanda defo adds a new perspective and is able to discuss things in a lot of depth & is very intelligent when it comes to important issues - however, in terms of the chemistry & vibe of the show, I personally preferred it when it was the 4 of them. But that’s just me 😊
My thing is, I believe in giving your opinion when your asked or if it’s necessary/important. Not everything needs a reply or needs your personal input.

I have a lot of religious friends and family. I am an atheist, the only other atheist I know is my husband. Often times I see some of my religious friends posting really ignorant post and I want to say something, but never share my opinion because I don’t want to come off as disrespecting their beliefs, but they are at the same time they are disrespecting me. I try to be the bigger person, but sometimes it’s hard.
The worst is having a friend that can't handle the truth constantly soliciting opinions just to get mad when people tell them the truth.#itsasetup...#dontfallforit #not fair...🤷🏾🙄

I give my opinion if it involves me. If I have to look,smell,eat,or hear something then give my opinion. If someone asks me for my opinion I give it. If I can’t say it nicely I ask for sure if they want it but I warn them that it’s brutally honest & a blunt response but I try not to hurt their feelings even if it’s hard to hear. I also always say “U don’t have to take my advice but this is what I’d do”. But the people who ask keep coming back so I guess I give good advice.
My close friends I expect 100% honesty, no matter what. That being said, if we arent super close, when I dont ask for your opinion, I'm not looking for it.

I was a preschool teacher, & if we don’t say anything kids definitely will, I had a kid as a mom who was overweight with a big belly if there was a baby in there and she laughed it off and said no.
I like people to be honest to each other. If good friends always speak the truth. (About clothing or makeup we can look at the mirror and see how it looks, so even someone give you a bad comment it shouldn’t bother you)
it's how you approach me with your opinion/Facts. I would say the mood and the timing is right. don't tell me when it's too late. Usually I would ask for it your opinion, if it really mattered and I wanted your take. But if I'm blind to something, and you see something I may not, absolutely pull me back and help me see the big picture.

Especially if it’s a safety issue. If you’re dating someone and I’m concerned for your actual safety, I’ll say something to protect you. Otherwise, it really really depends on the situation. If you ask for my opinion, I’ll give it to you.
I feel like if you actually feel like your opinion is needed and it may help someone or it’s actually useful to the situation then okay. But some people only share there “opinion” to bring people down or purposely use it for negative reasons and then when someone calls them out on it there only argument is “it’s my opinion” or “I’m entitled to my own opinion”
I give my opinion all the time. It’s a bad habit or whatever but I can’t keep my mouth shut. I’m not gonna tell you what you want to hear, I’ll (not purposely) hurt your feelings. My friends say it’s not that I’m wrong but it’s just how I say stuff.
I mainly just give my opinions when asked, I actually care enough about the person, or I feel like the person/ ppl won't go away & is annoying. I try to be careful w/ my words most of the times, but other times, if it's a built up,... I won't be so gentle. I'd prefer for ppl to tell me their truths bc I'd rather ppl say things to my face rather than behind my back. But if it's coming from a hateful place, that sounds more like a you problem. Ahhw E-Any A lot of the times it’s built up for me. You complain and complain about the same thing.... whew I can’t edit myself. The problem is people want me to help justify how they feel instead of hearing any other perspective that contradicts them. I’m blunt, no matter how nice I say something, it still comes off as rude to some (even though I honestly don’t mean for it to). But it’s gotten to the point of me asking “is it rude just because you don’t like what I’m saying?”
Delayva I go through this all of the time with my friends. I know this sounds bad, but I’ve gotten to the point where I just say okay or keep it super light. Sometimes I think people just want to have a pity party versus actually handle their pain. I’m not for trauma bonding and decided that I’m going to preserve my emotional capacities.

We as Africans are pretty used to being treated as less than. But come to COVID19, Im not happy with how China is treating Africans living there. Everybody can check for themselves the youtube videos being uploaded from China. Key words "Africans in China." People are fearing for their lives. When all this started, I heard it from you first on the real to stand against racism. Please im asking you and everybody else who can, to bring attention to this. There are Chinese people living in Africa peacefully, why can't Africans live in China peacefully... On the real, you once said we should always check each other. Now is the perfect time.
