Where I live in The Netherlands things only syarted in Revised ... in those days without Internet and only a few shops, got to trade and buy into singles, but never opened 4 Horsemen, nor A, B , U packs... lots of Revised statyers though ... they were much better value than the boodters... still have a few empty boxes but gave (and in beginning TREW" most of them away 😂🤣😅😆😁. IF we had only known ... 🤘🦁🤘
Can those boxes also hold an "Ice Age" starter? #BionMTG (Rob) was looking for one of those. Maybe you could place a link to the "Seller" on one of his comments ... 🤗
When my collection expanded beyond my first starter, I got a small card box and cut up my deck box and taped it to the outside like a decoration. I still have it to this day. All the dual lands I traded away for creatures though... (ouch!)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who preferred starter decks as a kid and only realized a long while later that boosters were the better choice. Fun is fun even when it's not optimized I guess. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, I can't really explain why the starter deck was so much more appealing to me. I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in this too! :) Thanks for checking out the video. Have a good one!
One ting to note on the Beta vs Unlimited manuals -- the Beta manual cover seems to me to be darker print, and this was consistent on the Beta side. I didn't open enough Unlimited starters to note if it was consistently slightly lighter.
That's wild! There are so many things I keep learning. I will have to watch some old Beta and Unlimited starter opening videos and see if I can tell the difference. Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I really liked 4th edition, since it gave me access to some powerful Legends cards I hadn't seen before like Land Tax and Sylvan Library, and I remember people using strip mine on me a lot!

I think Ice Age was a bigger box? but they do have cases available for the larger starter decks as well.

I'm a big fan of the GP acrylics as well
Yes, they are very handy. I heard they have ones for packs as well but haven't checked those out yet.
Nice presentation. Bet you wish they were sealed :).
Oh wow, can you imagine that! I'd probably be terrified to own them actually :)
