He’s now playing the role in the touring company of Aladdin! I saw his first performance in Arizona last week! He was amazing and hilarious! Got to meet him and he signed my genie lamp! He was a cool guy

I love these character studies. Such a wonderful way to bring the audience into the headspace of a broadway actor.
I just saw him today as the Genie. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a dramatic transformation. In this character study the guy is as chill as Bhudda. But as the Genie, he acts like he just had three red bull. That’s pretty incredible acting-wise.
His genie is one of the most electrifying performances I’ve ever seen.

I saw Major perform on Broadway two months ago and he was just incredible. The Genie steals the show no matter where it is or who's playing him, and Major is no exception.
I've often wondered how that scarf/cape he wears at the start fits together. It looks like a single cape when Genie turns around but then it splits into two when it comes off

I saw Major as genie in January. He was amazing! And really nice at stage door too
My favorite outfit is the Arabian Nights one he wears at the start. Wish they focused more on the scarf/cape he has cos I'm pretty keen on seeing how it fits together. Like it appears to be one cape when seen from behind but then it splits into two when someone takes it off him
In my opinion the scarf/cape really makes the whole outfit complete for me
That’s a lot of workout. I really admire him for this level of dedication. Especially for people carry extra weight, it’s quite hard on the joints.

My dance school did Aladdin and I got to be genie and it was a lot of fun but you better believe that when he says get your cardio, GET YOUR CARDIO. It is a very dance heavy show and you have to keep energy up through the whole thing. It is so much fun but also a lot of work.

Parker Pattillo I actually liked Will Smith’s spin on the character. But I don’t blame you. The remake would have been even more entertaining if Disney used most or all the Broadway songs. But Jasmines song Speechless was forgiving.
Can we give will Smith a break pls? He did a great job in the film, tho I do agree it would have been nice to see some Broadway talent in the movie
