I can in easy way walk in high heels.
Another tip: ALWAYS take a pair of flats with you in a bag just in case they get too uncomfortable =) never just leave the house with just your heels, you'll regret it later on and it's good to give your feet a rest

I recently started wearing heels. And keeping them on without taking them off after 5 minutes. During my teens I kept buying high heels of every kind without wearing them, but one month ago just like that I went out and I discovered that they're totally worth it. That kind of pain can be perfectly endured, in my opinion, you just gotta be distracted, and from time to time, sit somewhere. The only thing is: do not wear them if you know for sure you'll have to walk. Wear them at a pub, a bar or a restaurant, or something fancy with sofas and stuff like that. At least that's what I've experienced! Another thing: practice, practice and practice again, and most of all: be confident and believe in your ability to wear them! 😘

it's ok if you live in America. the pavements (sidewalks) are smoother and more even. in Scotland it's so difficult to wear heels lol

the problem is balance and poise.
When terrain is just too treacherous, I turn around and walk backwards down it in side to side zig zags on the balls of my feet. That's circumstantial though. :/

My first pair of heels were 5in pointy toe stilettos when I was 14. It took some practice, but eventually I got it down!

I’m 5 feet tall. Heels made me feel so confident for a lot of my life. Now that I’m 50, I’m all about comfort, and if I do a heel, it’s a wedge. Word of warning, if your second toe is longer than your big toe and/or you live in high heels, you’ll likely end up with hammer toes over time.
Always get a heel that is enclosed a tad larger. Get gel insoles... use these to take up the extra room. As your walking I can guarantee your feet will swell. By the end of the evening you may take out the inserts for extra room. Keep balance on the ball of your feet, do not balance on heel.

I do feet exercises to strength my ankles and feet.
I danced professionally for over 10 years. Ballet and point was my favorite. If you’re wanting to have stronger muscles in the feet and legs I suggest a ballet work out for the feet.
It’s so difficult to go from heels to flats. The foot is so stretched. I would always keep an over sized wooly boot to slip into after any shows.
Ice my feet when home. It was painful but sooo worth it!
With practice and strengthening your muscles, you can find that you can do anything in any shoe you put on, even run without harming your ankles or falling.

I had my graduation 6 years ago and wore wedges. My feet was sweating and I had to walk up a ramo to get my diploma. I made it fine. Looked really awkward in my picture because I was worrying so much. Just try to stay calm. And that's all u need.

Ok so I got 3 in heel zip up ankle boots. I have worn them quite a bit shortly after getting them (went grocery shopping in them with my mom, walked all over the house several times) so I could practice. The heel isn't super thin like a stiletto but a bit chunkier and then narrows down a bit to the bottom. I noticed when trying heel to toe that my toes seem to slam back down to the floor. Like it is hard to explain. Are my steps too big or am I lifting up my toes too much?

Is there any video showing how to achieve a quieter walk at a non-modeling speed/normal pace? No matter the height or thickness of the heel, my walk is overly loud like an army on parade. I do the heel-to-toe step, yet there's still a lot of noise. What can reduce noise?

That's how all heels sound and even some flat shoes for men and women. I was watching a video about a multi million dollar house viewing and the guys touring it, were wearing flat shoes that would make a lot of noise as they walked through the house.
When I walk, even when I'm barefoot, the floor under me is literally shaking and you can hear the thud like an elephant is walking towards you. It's weird because I'm a really small thin woman 😂 I used to be self concsious and tried to walk quietly but when someone told me how confident my walk looks I didn't care about changing it anymore. I'm graduating from uni next month and I cant wait for everyone to look for the elephant in the room
Honey that's how Heels sound. They're loud, if you want quiet then wear a flat shoe.

Another thing I've heard is that leather soled heels are less painful than rubber or synthetic soles because leather soles are more flexible. Thoughts on that?

MissEllby You can start small then gradually go up a heel. I'm pretty sure you'll walk stunningly in those 4 inch ones once you've got that 2 inch ones down!

Usually I just wear flat soled shoes but I do love the way heels make my legs look and walk. But my feet often slip out while I'm walking when when they fit well? Must be something I'm doing.

I would say the most important tip is to make sure the stiletto part of the sole is covered in rubber, leather or any other non slip material. If you walk heel to toe and the heel tip is made of plastic or vinyl, you can easily go flying on a slippery or polished floor.

Want to look even taller? Get some maxi-skirts with those heels aswell
Samantha Joy Hi! you can always wear kitten heels if you're afraid to look too tall or you can stick with heels that usually do not have a platform, like single sole heels. These pointy heels in the video are actually great examples of single sole heels! Just choose the 1-3 inch heel range :) You can look at different celebrity fashion inspirations like taylor swift, karlie kloss, tyra banks, etc :) But ultimately, wear them with confidence!
