After learning some great techniques in Tokyo, I thought I might share with you guys! Walking in heels can be heard whether you're just wearing them outside or you're strutting on the catwalk at a show. Hope this video helps!

Best tutorial by FAR! So many heels videos all say the same thing and not much else--"start with a lower heel, and practice!" Well, DUH! But there is so much more to it than that. Ok so I'm not aspiring to walk like a model, but I want to finally be able to just walk like a human being 😂
I have a huge problem with the heel-to-toe. I've read and watched tons of guides on how to walk in heels and they all say different things - walk from the heel, walk from the toe, walk flat, etc. I tried all of them and neither seems to be ok.
The most natural way for me is to walk heel to toe, but I end up kinda "clunking", like there's this awkward moment between when I'm on my heel and when I reach the floor with my toes. The movement isn't fluid and I can't seem to get it better.
I have no idea if I explained it well, but do you have any tips?
Wow ! Wow ! Very inpressed ! I’ll definitely great tips I can use ! Heels can be tricky to walk in . I’d say wear them around the house first untill you get use to them & also it wouldn’t hurt to put in some Gel insoles in your shoes & that should make them more confy & less painful on your feet . Those should help you during walking .the less pain the better . I’d say after you get them & put them in your shoes wear the shoes around the house with the insoles so that when you wear them out you’ll be use to them! Great video ! I just bought a pair of heels that are a 7 inch ! I haven’t had time to try them on yet !

I think the most helpful tip 4 me was ALL OF THEM lol no but when she said use ur back leg to push the body forward. Ive been struggling 4 a LONG TIME now but i also believe its because i haven't been practicing EVERYDAY or even every other day for AT LEAST 3-6 months. Im going back 2 work in less than 3 weeks and its time to step up my entire wardrobe ASAP for in the office. However, I just find the outfits r upgraded 100% when u add heels 2 IT. And I DON'T LIKE 👵 GRANDMA HEELS EITHER IM TRYING TO GO FROM FLATS TO 3 OR 4 INCHES LOL UGH THE STRUGGLE IS REAL UGH

How much sound does it makes or should b while walking can uh pls tell
It depends on the floor! I think people would prefer if your heels don’t make too much noise but of course theres not too much you can do when the floor is marble or tiles ☺️ walking without showing the soles of the shoe should help minimize the sound!

Does hips grows wearing heels??
Walking in heels work the front muscles of your legs and also the calves, but I don’t think it works the hips too much so it’s unlikely they will grow bigger or change in size at all. But your lower half of the legs may look more toned overall :)

Mia, thank you for your authoritative and comprehensive approach to this complicated subject. Unfortunate that many "experts" seem to want to oversimplify this skill as if it is something that should come naturally.
Like any skill, Walking gracefully in heels takes preparation, practice and conditioning. I think you should put more emphasis on the stretching and muscle development, an investment which requires time and consistent repetition.
Ideally, girls should begin learning to walk in higher heels beginning around age 10. Yoga and dance training are very helpful at any age.
I believe your audience is primed and ready to receive your lessons on intermediate and advanced high heel wearing. You could do a 30 minute video just on proper selection of footwear.
