This is so being a returning model I have been able to get the different turns and steps and poses but for fashion shows and pageant is a whole level up.. 😊
As a ballet and ballroom dancer, I was fascinated by the pageant turns and so I came to watch and see what hacks you guys use. In dancing (particularly ballet), we always use our shoulder to push a little momentum and arms to finish the turn (my description is probably lacking). I see that when you swiftly bring the thighs and feet together - it makes that same momentum as you make in dance with arms and shoulders -the technique is fascinating indeed! Would enjoy more of these videos!
Thank you for watching Natalie! You are absolutely right. I love it when contestants are able to do this on stage, it takes my breath away for a moment
Practice makes perfect! I can sense that you are working hard. You go girl! Don’t forget to drink lots of water, and if they hurt, you can soak them in warm water (+Epsom salt if you have any) and/ or put your feet physically up after a long day. I like to put my feet up against the wall while lying in bed backwards (with my bum close to the pillows)... while scrolling social media on my phone 😂
@@CrystalClues Hey, Crystal! I have been twirling so much, now I can't stop! I can do it now in both directions! haha! (amazed myself!) Now I'm heading for a 3 in. heel. Any suggestions? Thanks again for your awesome video!
Natalie Howard You have no idea how happy this comment makes me! ☺️☺️☺️Work it girlfriend! As for 3” heel recommendations, I hesitate to give you specific brands because some are just naturally narrow or others are wider, etc. and I don’t know the shape of your foot (personally I have a bunion so I find like every heel uncomfortable hah) but if you’re able to try something on first that would be ideal. Amazon wardrobe has heels you can try on at home and send back if you don’t find them comfortable. If stores are open where you are, going in to try them on in person is the best! I am in California and with Covid shut downs we haven’t been able to do that 🙁

I practice Pilates to train my core to be as strong as possible. My favorite is Mari Winsors 20 Minute Pilates Workout. It's challenging but doable. It's great for your posture, which in pageantry, is sooo important. 😊
