Kimmel has never been funny, nor is the rest of the junior league that swept in and replaced the nightshow hosts. Fallon is quite possibly the worst of the lot. I've literally never heard a genuine laugh from him. Not once. Every single time it's forced and fake like Chandler's worklaugh. Tubby McWhatshisface is at least adorable when he's in a good mood (that Adele car ride, to name one) but a self-entitled wanker when he's not getting his way.
Leno may not have been to my taste the last few years as his age took its toll, but legacy matters, and I respect that he put the time in. So did Dave, Conan, Craig, and Jon. Hell, Jon is honestly a seperate league; he knows no equal. Craig too was absolute magic to watch. Special mention to Secretariat and Geoff ( RIP Grant ), and of course the "executive" we all wanted to bend over a countertop and ravish, BETH. I honestly miss that show in a way that feels like my puppy died or something. 😮‍💨

I used to watch every year and enjoy it, but that ended as a result of Pinkett's first hissyfit, over the whole WE DEMAND BLACKS nonsense. The first time I watched again after that, she AGAIN torched the whole show, this time by turning Mr Congeniality the Fresh Prince himself, into an unconscionable and degerenate hood-rat like the son. Remember _"that's how we do?"_ That ALONE deserves doxxing.
The pedestal I had Mr. Smith on, made his fall an even bigger shock than Cosby to me, and I grew up watching the old man. I used to do a pretty good Cosby impression when I was young. Now look at them both... 😮‍💨I hate being alive to see all this. Laea gone, Rickman gone, Cronauer gone.... but weeds like cuntye and the kartrashians endure like a bic lighter in a seabird's stomach.

Hollywood needs to get over itself. Frankly I thought Kimmel's monologue was terrible just because it was pretty unfunny, but someone is going to find something offensive about any joke and to just reach out to different people for a perspective on a particular joke is unfair. The "Rom-Com" joke was funny. so was the initial RDJ joke, and there was literally nothing offensive about the Poor Things joke. Let's not forget how he called out all the back scene workers for their sacrifice during the strike and that was a very good moment. People need to lighten up.

The reason his jokes fell flat was because they were all pretty outdated. Ricky made a joke on RDJ's drug addiction at the 2011 golden globes, 13 years before. If Kimmel believes we will still find it funny in 2024, he or his writers are out of their minds. There was so much other new stuff that could have been joked about. Thats what I like about Ricky, he is up to date with the latest stuff that he can joke about, and he says it upfront to these stars at the beginning that we will be having a laugh at your expense. Kimmel did a better job at 2017 oscars infact.
