I feel that. It does sound incredibly sad on the piano. It leaves you with this achy feeling in your heart. The song itself was wonderfully written, and translates really well to the piano. Dustin Bates is a genius.

Hey man. I've been working on a book for a while. I'm really young actually. People might argue i'm ''too young'' to even have such great writing and to even be able to work on such a project like this. But i kept going with it because it's something I love to do. It's maybe one of my greatest passions i have and have had in all my live. Besides books i also love music and art. Even though people sometimes don't understand me they support me. I sometimes don't even understand myself and I've been sitting with quite some weird and difficult stuff for a while. A month ago my neighbour died. And i've been going through a hard time. I miss him dearly, i've stopped working on my book or story for a while and i've been feeling in need for a break. But your music has been one of the greatest things that gave me inspiration. It's been keeping me going. I've had a lot of doubt about things but your music keeps me from wondering off the path.

I'm definitely working on tutorials for these covers, because so many people have asked. I'm still trying to figure out the most effective way to do it though, because I've seen some crappy tutorials before, lol, and I don't want mine to be one of those. XD

Just came across this video looking for sheet music for this song and your rendition is amazing! I'd love to be able to play it myself. I saw some people also asking for sheet music or a tutorial. Did you ever get a chance to make one or both of those?

Lol, thanks. No worries, dude, I couldn't play like this when I was 13. I've been playing since I was 12 up until now, which is roughly 7 years. I saw your piano covers of "It Has Begun" and "My Demons," by the way. For someone who's never taken any piano lessons before, they were pretty good. I assume you did them by ear? You did a great job. Keep it up! ^,^

And yeah I just listen to a song and play it, although sometimes I get help from Smule 's piano app (Since I can't read notes, I just listen to a song on there and repeat the notes on my keyboard-). And thanks man, I really appreciate the support! >w
That's exactly how I do it too, man. I'm pretty bad at reading music notes too, so I just listen to the song, and play what I hear. Keep practicing, and you'll get really good at it. ^w^
