Thank you for another lovely vlog. The swim in the cave looks amazing. And your “daughters” that live with Elizabeth are fearless water babies! The weather here in Atlantic Canada has been very warm too. I’ve been enjoying watching all the birds that visit our garden. We have robins, bluejays, goldfinch, mourning doves and even a woodpecker. But my favourite is the hummingbirds. With their iridescent colours- they are tiny flying jewels. Have a great week Niki and Carlo. 💕💕🇨🇦

This actual video means so much more to us because we are actually here in Positano now and have been for the past week or so. The heat has been glorious especially coming from our Aussie winter. It was so lovely bumping in to you on the street the other evening and thank you kindly for taking the time to talk with myself and my husband. Your videos have guided us through our stay on the Amalfi coast. The coastline is amazing and you are so very fortunate to be able to experience it daily. I only hope that your family (Elisabeth's included) are
afforded the luxury of some level of anonymity to live life as you deserve.

It might sound silly to say, but even if someone recognizes us by making us feel like we are famous, in reality we are not at all, and we do not aspire to become famous, because (with all due respect to really famous people) we do not believe it is beautiful. to be, indeed it seems quite chilling to us not to be able to walk freely on the street, or to have a lot of other problems.
In our case, instead, a combination of concurrent events happens, 1 we make videos of Positano and its surroundings, 2 a few people watch our videos and then some of them come here 3 coming here to Positano they can easily meet us because we live here and this place it's very small, so we're not famous at all, nobody recognizes us outside Positano!😁💕😘
Ha ha ha! I loved Carlo's comments about how he really loves you, Nicki, even though you "break his balls!" You're becoming an "old married couple," which isn't all that bad! Loved seeing the wedding festivities. Oh, how is Carlo liking retirement? It appears from your garden that this summer he will be very busy in it.
Hi Kathi thank you, Carlo here, yes after 22 years together we can say that we are an "old couple" 😁, instead I would like to clarify that in reality I am not retired, because I am too "young" to retire according to the Italian state, I have just left one job for another that leaves me more free time!😘💕

Well I think this is my favorite episode so far! Thanks for filming yourself at work Nicki; you can do my makeup ANY day. And it was so interesting seeing you at work, as opposed to just seeing you in your workplaces.
I also enjoyed the warmth between you and Carlos as well as between you and your friends. Relationships are what really matters. I think that's one of the things that makes me enjoy the Italian culture so much; the value placed on relationships. Its heartwarming to see how much interaction you all have with Carlos' extended family. I'm sure you are all very used to each other but you still take the time for each other regularly. That's real family.

Hi Nicki and Carlo. Beautiful video. I heard that it is extremely hot there. Loved the garden and all the basil. It's a good idea to freeze the pesto in yogurt containers. I also grow lots of basil and freeze it for the winter, I freeze it in ice cube containers, this way you have individual cubes to use. I love how Carlo is so ingenious and able to study and make so many things. Bravo Carlo sei un genio e SE I un tesoro😊

Hello Nicki,Carlo,Sky and all others. 5years ago we traveled to Italy and things changed for me ever since. Not only was it the most Amazing trip that I(us) have ever taken but since I've been back I have been learning Italian. I have literally fallen in love with Italy and every thing about this Beautiful country. The twelve days that we traveled through the incredible towns and cities were the best times of my life. (What dreams are made of). Watching your channel has giving me a wonderful reminder that there is so much more to do and see there that we didn't have the opportunity to do. So when the time comes again and it will we will return to continue our journeys through Italy and definitely make a longer stay on the Amalfi coast where our last stop was. I very much enjoy watching you and your family and friends and your daily endeavors and can't wait till the day we return. Take care all the best and keep up the great work you do to make me keep dreaming of my return.
Hi Shane, Carlo here, thank you for all these nice words, and also for what seemed to me a declaration of love for Italy, of course you will know that like all things, even the wonderful ones, there are pitfalls, I tell you this because in this moment in Positano but also throughout the Amalfi coast (and perhaps in all the tourist places in Italy) is definitely very crowded and very hot, and if you don't like these last two things when you come back to Italy try to avoid the months of June July and August!😁😅💕😘

That basil looks lush. I used to live a bit north of Naples and we had farms around with fields of the stuff ,plus the buffalo etc... at work the other day we had no basil ( I cook) , so I made a pesto out of flat leaf parsley and water cress, which I blanched and chilled in icewater ,to keep it nice and green; just loaded up the garlic for flavour , and it was pretty good!

I love,love, love Carlo and his brother, enjoyed the tomatoes sauce making and elderberry cordial making videos. Elizabeth and her children are absolutely beautiful and this is good content for the soul. We need to see things like these, so normalcy for once. Thanks for all that you do and show and yes! LOVED the cave swimming!!…It reminded me of my visit, with my American family, in 2005, when we visited the tiny Sicilian island of Ustica where my grandfather was born!…It was the first time we united with our Italian family….FANTASTIC trip. We went swimming in 3 different caves/grottos. One turned our skin blue, another red, and another green!!…It was the most AMAZING experience!! My mom passed just 2 years later; I SO love the memory of swimming with her, and my sister, in these AWESOME caves! Thank you for bringing that sweet memory back to me!!…MUCH love…💞 Your life brings ME so much joy….❤️😘

What a wonderful video. I really enjoy being a fly on the wall in everyday life in Positano. Swimming in the cave felt almost as refreshing as if I were there. Fortunately we are having a little break from the heat here in Northern CA but it will return in a couple of days & we have no cave to swim in ;-

Amazing as usual. I fall in love with Italy more every video. I am making plans to try and get there next spring. Doing research trying to find best places to stay and make day trips from. Of course positano will be on that list. I know Carlos work does not want to be on RUclips but I am still curious how it’s going and the type of stuff he does now. I hope you are all well. Sooner or later we will do an update talking about my work, in the meantime I anticipate that I am very happy, the work in some ways is similar to what I did in the cemetery but with more free time, in the sense that I welcome people (alive) I do the work of the gardener, pruning, watering, fertilizing, sweeping, in short, what I also do at home!💕😘
