Well, after watching Nicki do this pasta making a few times. I am going to give it a go. I always thought it involved having a pasta machine...but its done at a table with help. I have help..lets see how it turns out! never boring, its actually inspiring!

I've made pasta before with a machine never thought how the other shapes were made! The macaroni was a total surprise!!
It's great to do with a bunch of people round the table, quicker too!

You’ve given me the most wonderful idea to make an herb hanger. I have a large approx. 2.5 meter opening between my kitchen and living room, some herbs hanging would be wonderful. I have many types in my garden- thyme, oregano, sage, lavender, and rosemary. I love the fresh smell and also enjoy putting them in flower arrangements in the house ( Roses and Hydrangeas are my best flowers) - I think I need to start having pasta making parties- looks so fun.
Hi Nicki. Could you make a video on some of the cakes you bake. Also maybe a tour of a ceramic factory where they paint the beautiful ceramics. We had a beautiful piece shipped to Brisbane form a ceramics studio down the road from Hotel Poseidon where we stayed. Also another idea for video would be room tours of the hotels as the season may be getting quieter.
Also teaching some Italian words would be great for future trips and how you actually leant Italian. Keep up the good work!

Hi Nicki. This is the first time I have ever subscribed to a RUclips channel. My wife Helen and I have been watching your videos for a very long time on our TV and we wanted to let you know how much we enjoy them. We were married on 20th June 2003 in Positano at the Town Hall (Comune) and we spent our "luna di miele" at the Buca di Bacco. We visited Positano last year in late September when we stayed at the Excelsior in Pogerola near Amalfi. As ever it was so beautiful yet so much more crowded. A bit different this year I think. We almost regard you, Carlo, Skye and Holly as part of our family. All your videos are so beautiful and professional and must take a lot of hard work. 1987 I am right there with you, I have been back so many times too - you never forget and its wonderful to see it right now, as you say in difficult times. I was looking for a channel a month back that was based in Positano - because I was supposed to go back this year. Then the world stopped. May we both get back there soon!

We appreciate all your efforts in making these videos. So cosmopolitan the way you speak with your friends in English and Italian interchangeably. In general we Brits have never been good at this and with us leaving the EU that is unlikely to improve.

Great video, vicariously watch storms thru your video's. Thankyou for including the childrens experiences. We adults have skills to manage.....children really need the support of their parents (great parenting Elizabeth!) And their extended family (super job Nicole!) And their community. Community has changed so much.....how many kids automatically hug their teacher (at that age most everyone). That is hard on kids who feel apprehensive, and now behind the red line teachers are unapprochable. Psychology hard on kids. Hang in there.

Memories of my mom- she could have a feast anytime with what we had at home! Growing up I never realized how special that was! We just took it for granted that mom could feed at the drop of a hat! I like the herb rack. I see Carlo isn’t the only crafty one. 😉 I was nervous watching you climb. I fractured my ankle in June. It happened so easily so am very nervous now about climbing etc. Btw, that’s when I discovered your vlog. I was laid up for 10 weeks. I love how you eat, meals are so simple and healthy. I did a Europe cruise about 10 years ago and one of the stops was Positano and just fell in love with the place, who doesn't! This takes me back , love listening to the Italian language and watching how you live from my home in Houston, Texas (relocated from Melbourne, Australia). And the way you simply went out and gathered the wood, and more herbs and created that verb rack was so charming. I know we are always telling you this, but we do love your home. Its raining here in Tasmania too. Seasons are a changing! That opening scene, those waves. Sad that Fornillo had such a short season. Next year better x. I loved this video (love them all) but it captured many things. Good food and friends. So much for young children to digest, yet I can see the way family and friends are making this less dramatic. Important. They eat healthy food they help create. We are so used to seeing Carlo create things, but you are so creative as well! That herb drying rack is absolutely perfect! I dont know if you guys have crepe myrtle trees out there that get trimmed each seasons, but here in GA we trim them back each late winter and the new ones grow straight up and fast, so each year we have a perfect harvest of beautiful straight pieces of wood that dry so well. A light sanding and they are the prettiest sticks that there ever were lol.

You don't have to make a big deal about it but make it clear and prominent in your video for 5 seconds and then move on to your content. Everyone else does it.

Merry Christmas from Massachusetts… it’s December 23, 2021 and I have a glass of wine and am watching some of your videos to decompress….all of our Christmas plans have been turned upside down because of Covid….so many of our friends have 1/2 their family positive and other negative, but in same house 🙄. It's not a glamorous lifestyle, nor does it have to be, but it's colorful, full of life (casual living kind of life), and it's not boring. I subscribe to your channel but forgot about Patreon.
