Yeah. I I've in Des Moines Iowa, grew up here. He taught at last chance guitar shop here for years. We used to hang out together at this bar our bands both used to play at. He's a really nice guy. Really friendly and not like how people that don't know him personally would think, like some maniac. And the dude is a kind of musical polymath or something. A really gifted player on every instrument I've seen him play. He got on this old piano at this party house we all went to and just started in on this ragtime sounding 1920's kinda song. I was pretty blown away and realized there's a lot more to this guy. Though I never met the singer, he came along later, but they are all nice guys and just people. And they worked hard as hell to get where they are. I remember they had a work ethic that was like a machine. Everybody talks about what drug addicts they were and all this crap. Absolutely untrue. They had a NO DRUGS policy for a far I can remember. Sid Wilson made myself and some of our other friends swear that we'd never narc him off for smoking weed back then. I guess I just ratted on him! He just got burned in some pyrotechnic explosion or something the other day! Got his face burned even and I hear it's bad. He was always the one in Slipknot that I was the closest to. We were super tight years before they asked him to join. It seemed like an odd fit, he was a rave kid and not into metal but it's clearly worked out. He and Mick and poor Joey were just the nicest dudes. I miss seeing them at the bars all the time and talking about bands with them. Alot easier than it looks actually
it's pretty simple, just straightforward chromatic stuff.
tbh it is once you've played a while
I've you never played guitar it would took you just a month to do this on 120bpm
Warmup isnt practice. Go the speed that you are comfortably able to do. It gets your fingies stretched and ready to actually play
i can't even play wrong notes that fast
It's all picking in the wrist. Notice how relaxed his fretting hand is.

Soooo true
