'my banana pudding' thats what was wrotten in the subtitles :)
@@tdshzz thank you kind stranger I may die in peace now
Vegan banoffee pie. She has another short about it
Love the effort!
Some professors are just super interesting to talk to. My old nano tech professor could talk for hours and I’d listen. Miss that man.
My husband still has coffee with his professor, 15 years later. I love that you had a meal with her
I love that for them
I made a huge dinner too. for my family tonight, it is so satisfying to do
Cranberries in the ranch is diabolical but I still support you 😭
😂
I got so hyped! Gonna definitely try and make the pudding.
I NEED the Brussels sprout salad recipe please ❤
Holy shit this girl can cook on a grand scale for a pastry chef. I love the diverse options you catered for!
👏🏽 Sounds fun and interesting ☺️
We had a pot-luck with our Professor back in the “90’s”. Great food, conversations and fun. 😊❤️🇺🇸🙏🌏☮️
that sprout salad was solidly half dressing, oh my lord xD
Looks delicious!
I love when everyone is happy 🥰🤗
I never knew that the secret to great pasta is to cook in non boiling water.
Reheating focaccia? You already know them edges about to be rock hard lol
As an Italian I just could not miss that pasta water that wasn't boiling 😱😱😱
And using boxed pasta. A professional would have made it fresh!
I wish we also have the same bounds with our professor
Wonderful spread of delicious food.
They don't have plates and glasses?
Looks wonderful! I love when vegan dishes add some sort of protein like beans and nuts! The salad looks divine
Never hurts to add some crunch with pine nuts, roasted panko, walnuts, roasted pees, crostini on the side etc :)
That’s so cool! 😀🙌✨
Question: why do Americans often don’t eat of real plates? I see so so so much videos where their use plastic or paper plates instead
To not wash dishes basically or so if there’s leftovers, which there usually is, people can just take the whole plate home with them
@@B_addie they took with the plate? Wouldn't it be a mess? More convenient to just pack it up using go to box or smth right
We do eat off real plates. This was for a diner party at a strangers house. It’s not a regular dinner.
i think in this instance there were a lot of people so its more efficient w paper plates but idk about everyday use
@@ELLEYSIand who's providing those boxes?

"obviously had my……" you knooow
Was the water even boiling when you threw the pasta in ?
Nope 😂 they clearly don't know what they're doing.
Pleaseee drop vegan banana pudding recipe
Looks delicious ❤
What was the reason for adding nutritional yeast to the pasta sauce?
It acts as a cheese substitute. Nutritional yeast flakes taste somewhat like Parmesan and give meals a cheesy flavor. And it is great for your gut!
tastes good 👍
@@funrockingtastischsome B12 too!
I love that olive oil!
That focaccia 🔥
You have dinner with your clients? That's cool
No shes a student at a college and she said every month a few students eat dinner with a professor she explains it in the last video but this time when she was doing it they decided to have her cook the food so it wasnt a client or anything
What was the dessert!
Vegan banana pudding! It isn't linked but it is towards the top in her posted shorts
Not the paper plates
I would love to come for dinner😊
“Then for dessert we obviously had my-“ Wait a min now 😳👀
Banana pudding (from other comments)
Instant pasta????? I'm done.
Dessert is banana pudding guys 😂😂😂😂
Why do US people only use paper plates?
Make sure you say why do “some” US people. I don’t use paper plates
They're lazy and don't want to wash dishes. My aunt in America only uses red solo cups and paper plates... or she eats out at restaurants
@@Earthslittlesecrets US people don't afford the same courtesy to other countries, so no

WHAT WAS FOR DESSERT??? 😢
That pasta definitely has eggs in it 😂
Nah most store bought pasta is accidentally vegan.
From what I know of Pasta, I believe fresh pasta has eggs but store bought dried pasta has no eggs.
Now I’m hungryyyyyy
But what’s with the paper plates? 😅
PAPER PLATES?
Professor Becky gave u plastic cups at her amazing home ...omg
With plain water.
and paper plates??!
When you got the moneys you can literally make anything. Now on a budget though, room for creativity. I wonder how much all this tallied up to
You get invited to your professors house???
For real! The idea sounds interesting..😅
@@nahomymalu8055she’s a private chef…
a lot of professors do this. it’s not weird lol

What’s the other guys name? Herve? Herb Bertlinger?
Herbert
@@july3817😂 it's such an old man name. I can't take it seriously.
I didn't know Asains came in "Herbert" 😂😂😂😂😂
Is the pasta vegan?
A lot of boxed pasta is vegan, it's just durum / wheat flour and water, sometimes also salt. And ofc if you'd like to make pasta from scratch, you can make it vegan, too.
Learning could be homework it depends how you look at it
Pasta uses eggs btw so that wouldn't be 100% vegan. I'm pretty sure fuccacia has egg as well. Looks good though
Only fresh pasta uses eggs, boxed pasta is just wheat, no egg👍🏼
You are soo wrong😂 there is A LOT of vegan recipes of pasta, bread, cakes, puddings, ice creams.... Please, educate yourself about it
Not all pasta uses eggs
Foccacia don’t have eggs. Just flour, olive oil, yeast and water. (Some salt too…)
No olives?!
Finally vegan
🥰😍❤️❤️❤️
Are those paper plates?
And plastic cups - tacky and wasteful.
Are those… paper plates…?
Kwason
When I think of a vegan dinner then I think about freshly mowed grass
aha
Tax evasion
Am I the only one that is concerned for the ethics of inviting only a reserved number of students to have a 'private dinner' with a professor? The optics of the situation seem very off, i cannot imagine the dynamics going on in that dinner table, not to mention the segregation and favoritism on the classroom...
Also, is this a common practice in America?
there’s nothing concerning about this lol. many people have dinner with their professors in group settings. especially when the groups are doing things like research for their profs or if they’re grad/PhD students where the number is small and they’re tight knit to their advising prof. one of the main reasons i’m applying to a specific law school is bc the faculty advisor for the black student caucus has all the black law students over for dinner every other week. this is a pretty average experience, especially if you’re going to a more expensive school or a smaller private one. a lot of profs have open lunches on campus where any students who want to join can for mentoring purposes as well. “at home” dinners are a lot more common in the ivys and usually have 5+ students and the prof. it’s a *feature* the department advertises, so ALL the students this prof teaches are going over for dinner
You're absolutely right - it's very unprofessional to have a select group of special/favourite students.
👩🏻💭"I can't give a thumbs up because I wanted to hear about the desert and you cut it off".
Uhhh that pasta box isn’t one of the vegan pasta types Barilla make… it’s vegetarian but not vegan… all of their Gemelli pasta contain milk.
Only one single person at this dinner is vegan, yet everyone else is forced to eat vegan. Thats crazy.
No kidding, and it was carbapalooza with practically no protein 😮
No one was forced. All the students agreed the menu
I think neuvillette also has chubby cheeks
Do you have an awesome carnivore dessert recipe?
Doesn't pasta have egg in it? Unless you used vegan pasta
Ummm where are the gloves
this commentary is so unbearable

Vegan butter is vegan
Vegans don’t eat eggs and I’m pretty sure the pasta has egg, but don’t tell her that !!😂🤫
Dry pasta like the ones they are using are typically made with flour and water, sometimes salt. Only fresh pasta are made with eggs, so dry pasta are fine for vegans :))

@@Ummmzaxk you're welcome ! Have a nice day :))
@@16v52 agree with everything you said except that when you make fresh pasta from scratch you can ofc choose to add an egg or use water instead, so it totally can be vegan, too! 😊

Meat??
Not in a vegan dinner
@@july3817what's that?
@@amy87174non meat eaters, they don't eat meat for any number of reasons
@@irishrose6055 seriously? Like what? The main purpose of an animal's life is to provide nutrients to other beings. Why would they take away that from the animals?? That's cruel.
@amy87174 could be dietary restrictions, personal preference of the cruelty that some farms do, the texture or taste of meat, religion, there's many reasons
It's not exactly cruel to not kill an animal when you don't want to eat meat

Vegan ranch being a term is so wild. This world is doomed. Eat protein for gods sake. It’s literally the most important thing that you’re body needs
