1️⃣ By reflecting on the movements learned during the surf skate session, the focus was an economy of movement from take-off, to bottom turn, to down-the-line speed.
2️⃣ Reading sections to either race a fast section or return to the pocket if the wave flattens out.
3️⃣ To maintain focus on their foundation skills of popping up, even during steep take-offs and using this focus to overcome the fear of steeper waves.
4️⃣To belly laugh with glee at scoring perfect, empty waves in paradise during February ❤️
