Thank you for the GREAT video and link to the parts:) I was able to fix the neighbors dryer for her. She has 4 boys under 7, going thru a divorce and has no time or money for a professional to fix it. She is very happy it works now to dry the clothes. Thank you again for the great video!
Hey brother you help me fix my dryer yesterday. How much I owe you? I just subscribed and thumbs up. Is that good?
I am just happy to help you don't have to pay me nothing , but if you want to donate thats fine , the link to my PayPal is in the description. thank you so much ^_^
This was extremely helpful! Was able to fix mine after watching your video. Thank you for posting!
I just diagnosed a bad heating element thanks to your video! Thank you!! 👏
Hi Felix, I just disassembled my dryer the way you showed it here because it was not heating and I put it back together. But now, the dryer goes for like 3 minutes and jumps to 1 minute remaining and completely stops. Did I do something wrong when I assembled it back?
Mmmm honestly not sure what you did wrong. That hasn’t happen to me before
Thank you for the help! Exactly what I needed
Life saver! Saved us a lot of money on repairs! My Samsung dryer works like a champ now! Your videos are always great. I remembered your videos and thanks to this one I got everything in the right places. Thank you very much!
Our problem is the heating element box is screwed to the back of the dryer making it impossible to remove without removing the drum. This video makes it look pretty easy and we don't know why our box is screwed in but it's making this job a 5 hour job, vs. a 1 hour job. :(
My DV48H7400 quit heating this week, bought new in 2016. My heating element wire was broken, and the main plate was all cracked and cooked too. So far so good. Really appreciate the video. Gave me the confidence to replace it myself and saved me a ton of money. Thank you.
Thank you so much for a treat video!! However, I replaced everything and my samsung dryer will still not heat. What else do you think could it be?
Super awesome! Made it super easy! Thanks Felix!
Extremely helpful, thanks brother. Got my dryer up and running with your video! Thanks again!
You don't mention the thermal fuse in your videos. My dryer has gone out twice and both times it was the thermal fuse.
Thank you for this. I just ordered the replacement parts off Amazon. No way I am calling a technician!
Replaced both heating element and thermostat, new thermostat, relay burned out after 1 use... whats causing this?
Thanks felix Your video was very helpful much appreciated save me a lot of money
Greatly appreciated and not clear on a few extra pieces that came with the part. Replaced it last month and it went out again, fortunately within the window to swap and installing a new one this morning.
My model number is different
Hi Felix where are you located?
great video. very helpful
Thank you!
I notice you said it was spinning but not heating. What if it was neither spinning nor heating. Would that be the same problem?
That should be another problem. Maybe your belt broke or the motor don’t work any more
@@FixitFelix529 I opened the dryer....slack belt. It was a bad idler pulley
Thank you! I used the amazon link to buy the parts, and even though it took me 4 hrs and many slices and cuts from all of the unfinished metal edges, I got my dryer back up to working.
The heating element on mine had cracked and broken.
Your video was easy to follow along with and to get it done.
