I am happy for our location to be shared. Campbell Commercials Vale of Leven
Gosh I remember travelling on those First Glasgow Geminis when they were brand new in December 2004. They replaced all but a handful of the remaining Ailsas on the fleet. Looks like the entire batch is in that yard. How time flies.
Some ex-Dublin Bus Olympians at 1:50 and 6:38 and 12:03. Still miss these. Much better than most of the more recent stuff we've been saddled with.
Ooooh! great! a video of a scrapped bus yard by and more central!
6:10 it’s HoB WA56 FKO, which was new to us in Devon with stagecoach south west (stagecoach Devon at the time)! Soo cool but sad to see it wherever it is. It’s older siblings are still in use down in Torquay although a lot of them have been withdrawn now. We only have about 5 darts left in daily service now, all being replaced by e200’s
Such a shame
@@theleedsbusdriver They still look modern and new

I would have bought one or two of the buses that are still in good condition. Especially that West Midlands Dennis Dart or an Plaxton President or a Eclipse Gemini. Would be excellent for Rail Replacement services. All three are Low Floor so it would be a better rail replacement compared to coaches.
B7TL's are heading to scrap yards in large numbers now but a few are getting preserved.
Nxwm use most of their b7tls.
so strange seeing a lot of Glasgow native buses in that vid, buses that i will as well as millions of other people will have travelled on over the years, great buses and will be missed
Most of these look in good shape, i wonder why they don't get exported to other country's around the world or for other use, instead of scrap?
Is that First Glasgow 37530 the one in the NHS Pride livery?
Plenty of recently repainted First and Stagecoach buses in the scrapyard.
Sad to see all the Glasgow B7’s go.
end of an era. only some
B7s exist now, 09 RLEs ExCT Plus 55/56 plates, basically anything pre-56 cant be used anymore. absolute machines, they will be missed! 😢
Here in Newport South Wales we have 5 22 plate tridents and scanias.
Down here in the pits of the UK in Yorkshire, we still have B7's as the main workhorse.
First Yorkshire don't seem in any hurry to replace them.
Looks like some ex London stock, twin door red Enviro 200s.
Personally I think the original Eclipse’s/Gemini’s look far nicer than any of the current offerings from Wright, AD etc. Nowadays, like a lot of cars, buses have become about odd jagged lines and shapes whereas in the late 90s/early 2000s it was all about curves and sleek bodies.
glad you videoed the place alex, i made a vid there too
VP2. X151 FBB. Formally numbered VP151. Volvo B7TL with Plaxton President bodywork
Ex D&E coaches Olympian was withdrawn early last month and TransBus Enviro 300 sat at Wick depot for months. Also 21210 ex Highlands Centro sad to see it there.
I do know this location too but won't share 🙂
I would like to go to one of these and see what's there.
It’s sad to see most of my favourite buses scrapped
I wish Street deck and streetlites can get scrapped
Give it 5-10 years, it will happen soon enough.
ahhh no ex hedingham bus there W465 WGH ahhh wow first time seeing it since it left essex for scrap
Are any of these buses preserved? Some look in quite good condition (e.g. the Mercedes O814)
If you look there was a good few with ‘stay safe wear face covering’ so only 3yrs old 🙄
Just skipped a bit! It's nice how they got new Stagecoach buses
Sad to see the Hulley’s of Baslow Dart there. 😢
Driven a fair few of those buses sitting in there in service in Glasgow, shame to see them papped there rotting away, while we're stuck with the new shitty electric buses now🤣
What a wast my old company would have got years more out of these buses, and proud to say it was the real BartoN Transport Ltd Chilwell Notts, I worked for, Bill Redfern
Those Olympians would all be ex Dublin Bus
It's the ULEZ in scottish cities that are killing these buses off most would easily see a few years service yet but would cost more than they are worth to convert.
First to watch this amazing video
it's sad to see some of these buses are some were my local runners
sad really as those buses have years of use left in them yet🥺
I been there with my dad
Please do Barnsley next
Shame no one else can use these loads of dchool bus companies usong non low floor buses and these low floor ones getting scraped
Someone i know did the sister bus to PO51WNM.
Lot of first bus Glasgow buses
They told me not reveal location I said ok
They say that so people don't go to the site just because they don't want unwanted attention which I get but if there's usually a street name visible Google earth it
@@declangaming24 oh right
What a waste, read today that first are scrapping 2011 enviros, some have nothing wrong with them plus this is a sad reason why parts get hard to get also there's no such thing as cheap bus for school work these days
First london give DN33777 to Tower transit then that was sold to CityDirect Galway as 12-G-7464 SN12 AVT so sad that they went bust😢
sad sight but progress
