The Renntech module seems extremely complicated. Purchasing a IIDTool from Gap Diagnostic would have made everything much easier. No need to splice anything, just plug and play. Allows to set different ride heights and many other things. Also works as a diagnostic tool obviously and it's a Canadian company...
I stumbled upon this video today & was going to say the same thing. The Renntech module is overly complicated & overpriced for what it does. IIDTool is so much better.
How did the RRS do long term with this tune? Any power train issues here? Any warranty issues, seems like the engine can handle the tune since it’s the same as the SVR?
How do these motors hold up to tunes? Any reliability issues? I bought one used and the guy had a tune on it before, the head gasket blew right after I bought it. Do you think it was the tune or something else? It was a Velocity AP tune. The previous owner said he never overheated the engine. It's a 2015 Range Rover Sport Autobiography. I ended up building the motor and the motor builder is very against tunes so I'm hesitant to put one on as I don't know the reason the head gasket blew.
hey bro i have a 2012 Vogue SC, removed the back box (rear end muffler delete) and sounds MEGA, does gun shots on down shifts, ask your friend to try it out !!! also please tell me how and what i need to get for the SC pulley upgrade
Do the 2017 come with lowering option in the autobiography supercharged? I saw another video of a 2017 and the person in his video said the 2017 have off road option, which is the original height and the adjustable height you that on the 2014 model. I am really considering the Autobiography supercharged. I am doing my research right now.
Those wire splices are terrible. As said I'm shocked they don't do a plug and play kit especially given the price of the car. If I bought a car like that and found those splices I wouldn't be impressed. Looks like a sweet bit of kit either way. Got to love no compromises in ride quality.
Why don't the company for the lowering kit just don't make male and female connectors with everything fully soldered and so you just have to plug it in between the module and the original connector so you don't need to splice cables?
Good afternoon, I installed this RennTech lowering module on a 15 range rover sport. Everything seems to work fine however I'm getting a Suspension Fault Normal Ride height only light on dashboard. Any idea of what could be causing this light to trigger? How can i configured the system so i can use the ride height button whenever i want the truck to lower or raise to normal height?
How the fuck would he know. He doesn't work for Renntech. Why don't you call or email them instead of trying to get an answer in a RUclips comment section lmfao. I don't understand why some people do this, and ask such technical questions. Like the person who posted the video is some Renntech Tech Support. LOL. There's a reason why companies pay employees for a position called "Customer Support/Technical Support" if you're getting a faulty light you should probably ask Renntech not on some random RUclips video. Smh
Nope, I dont think they really need us to know what the wires do. And its a simple de-pinning technique so I don't really see the harm whether its an 80K or 10K truck.
I just want more content all around from y'all, no matter what it is. Great job and one of my favorite channels!
Just a random RUclipsrs comment, but I hope you guys do more track testing videos with a bunch of cars, I'd love to see that
We've got a bunch in the cue!

Hmm, we thought this was the only and best option on the market...
@@speedacademy The IIDTool for $500 would be able to program the air suspension to any height. I had mine set to +2" for larger all terrain tyres.
@@F06M6 NO LIGHTS ?

@@F06M6 does the iid tool allow the vehicle to drive "lowered" at all speeds?
So cool. Love seeing this. That is one good looking Range Rover.
Wow that shit was fast! Sick. Great video guys. Really interesting how they pull that Renntech mod off.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Yeah, this was cool. More content is always a good idea!
Cool to see you working on something different
Can you share who offers an ECU tune to boost the HP to 605?
That’s a rennetech thing bro check their website out

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Didn't know you could raise and lower ;) x

Wonder of the Renntech module works on the Discovery 5
Good video man, you once will get a lot of subscribers just keep going :)
Thank you!

Sir.
From where you bought air filter and how much ? Does this filter increase the HP so much!

Disconnect the negative battery cable, not the positive one!
We always though leaving the positive terminal on could still cause a possible short.
nope. thats the first thing you learn in tech school electrical classes, always remove the negative first
The last shot of the car....Is that the new ride height or is that fully lowered to entry mode?
Stock rims are way nicer
We love the concave of these wheels but the stockers are also very nice.
Those wheels suck. Stock looked much better.
I like the wheels lol. Which ones are they?
cool video and very well explained!
Looks great, please tint your front windows to match the back. Check mine out on my channel, looks great!
Nice wheels!
Holy wiring nightmare Batman. Modern cars can be such a pain in the ass.
It's not that bad at all but yeah modern cars are a bitch to work on.
For the kind of money Renntech asks (U$4K), one might at least expect a piggyback Plug-n-Play wiring loom instead of funkin' Scotch locks... Damn!
hello i have a RR sport v8 supercharged 2014 im wondering how did you take off the rev limiter at 12:53?
The rev limiter is still there, it just was slow to shift so it bounced and held it.
Speed Academy ohh ok thank you

Hey how is it going
I have a 2020 svr sport do u no where I can get the part ?
did they add exhaust pops and burbles to the tune?
Why don't the company for the lowering kit just don't make male and female connectors with everything fully soldered and so you just have to plug it in between the module and the original connector so you don't need to splice cables?
Looks like a nice kit to me. They didn't even need to splice anything, they just piggybacked the wires.
The cost of the connectors would make this kit very expensive and its already pricey!

I love you guys!
nice mods
now you guys need this lol
Can you give a link the the pulley/tuner kit?
Why?
what will you do will the old rims?
Can i do this on my 2020 Range Rover Autobiography LWB?
Yes, you can did it to mine but get the iid gap bt tool
Not sure i could justify doing this to our $80k truck. Did they at least break down what each wire does so you can trouble shoot it?
Nope, I dont think they really need us to know what the wires do. And its a simple de-pinning technique so I don't really see the harm whether its an 80K or 10K truck.
Good video but your speedometer reads KMH not MPH... .
Huh! Nice!
factory wheels look much better but not my v=car so it honestly does not matter
Looked better on stock wheels
Show more of the bmw please at 1:34
That's my E28 daily driver, you can see more of it on the website!
Is it modified?
Just appearance mods, Euro look and all the suspension has been done.
Scotchlok connectors, noooooooooooo.........!
Put an SR20 in it!
Haha, we won't be putting SRs into anything anytime soon!
Scotch locks on a Range Rover......
Terrible
There goes the warranty and... cheap Chinese tyres combined with 605hp, can you see what I'm saying!!!
as someone who works on these cars.. enjoy burning oil. good lord these 5.0 supercharged eat oil.
Thank goodness for warranty!
Meboyboyboy what are your thoughts on the new range rovers and jags? Interms of reliability and quality.
