  • The new 2022 Range Rover is out now but what's my thoughts on all of the older models of the range rover sport and land rover range rover vogue? I just had this black 3.0 diesel Range Rover Vogue arrive as a bit of stock with the SVO bodykit. In this video i compare this facelift version to the previous face-lifted model and the 2014 pre-facelift range rover sport.

Here’s what doesn’t make sense with modern cars. The tech/controls are now so advanced they have become distracting and dangerous if use whilst driving, but its legal. Its illegal to touch your smart phone screen whilst driving, but its not illegal to touch the cars screen, even if its mirroring your smart phone via android auto/apple car play? The world gone mad…

As the mechanic once said to me, they’re a £100k new give or take, people go and buy them 5/6 years old for £35k but they’re still a £100k car when they go wrong.

A friend, who is a horse breeder, ordered a new Sport, which apparently arrives next May 😳 22 grand of options. His current Disco has so many options, the whole Land Rover dealership staff, come out and bow. 😂 He told me factory rear entertainment for the new one is about 5 grand. The Disco has it, and no-one has ever sat in the back seat 😂

Had a 2016 range sport, was a nightmare. My Mrs used it as her daily, and I had a go every now and then. Never ending faults, never again!.

Have had an autobiography sport for the last 5 years, had no issues with it at all. It’s been solid from day 1. 66,000 miles in 😊

Another reason its important a Range Rover is comfortable is you need a nice place to relax when your waiting for the AA/RAC to turn up every time you break down which will be a regular occurance😉

I bought a Range Rover once. Was a 2009 sport and tbh I bought it quite blind. Didn’t know much about them but bought it because I had some money spare and wanted to treat myself. Anyway bought it from a side street garage with no website and the thing came with absolute headache. Nearly every electrical fault was playing up and generally a massive headache. Mad such a mistake but my own fault for buying cars basically blindfolded.

it's all fine to review what it has and how it drives but the most important factor is reliability which these type reviews don't cover at all. why buy an expensive SUV with great features if you don't how the reliability is. interview others who have owned it for 2 or 3 years and get feedback for viewers - that would be invaluable.

You haven't had any troubles with Range Rovers you say? You have been extremely lucky then. Most Range Rovers have issues. But you don't drive all you sell, that must be the reason. Most ppl have many issues, just check out Honest John, and get a headache.

I feel like there’s so much to go wrong in a vehicle like this. All the bells and whistles but all those touch controls could cause one hell of an expensive headache down the line.

Had two Sports and currently on a Vogue. The previous two sports (07 and 63 plate) funnily enough both had suspension issues come up now and again. Yes they’re a pain in the a** to maintain but very comfortable to drive.
