      Thank you! Yeah it's in good shape with just the right amount of "been there" wear on it.

    Thought I'd make a comment prior to watching this... My uncle just passed down to me a "world war 2 Japanese NCO sword.."
    He has had this for over 50 years, it was passed to him from a WWII American soldier (although my uncle shared with me the specifics on how this sword was obtained, out of respect I'll not disclose that here).
    I have no reason to believe this sword to be fake, however, this shall be an interesting video to confirm what I already know to be real.
    Okay let's see what this gentleman has to share!

      That sounds like a really interesting piece! I hope my video was able to help.

    Great pice! You know why they installed a "trigger" on the Suba?

    • @AHumbleCollector
      @AHumbleCollector  2 года назад +2

      Thank you! Yeah that piece latches into the sheath, locking the sword in place.

    where can i get one?

    • @AHumbleCollector
      @AHumbleCollector  2 года назад +2

      Your best bet is from a militaria dealer. This one came from SV Militaria, I'm not sure if they have any others for sale.

    A serial no??

    • @AHumbleCollector
      @AHumbleCollector  3 года назад +3

      That's correct, factory made blades were serial numbered, just like a lot of other factory made equipment.

    I cant believe people in japan are not allowed to own them,
