+l0ckcr4ck3r Thanks. I’ve been spending a fair amount of time with your MT5 lately… frustration central! A couple opens, though. I’ve been working on a system to detect when the inner pin spooling is engaged in the outer pin counter milling, which is the real trick to this lock.
+tonyholt90 Thanks. I was using the same tension as I always use for locks like this, which is pretty heavy. The difference is that you could see it more easily because I was using a much thinner tension tool than I usually use (because that's all that would fit in the keyway).
When you gutted the second side of the cylinder, the first driver pin was the other way up. Would that be you dropping the driver pin and getting it's direction wrong or is it common for driver pins like that to be installed either way up?
+thejakeyboi Sparrows makes two pry bar clones in .025" and .032" ... I'm using the .025" tool in this video. The Sparrows tools are a nice complement to the .040" and .050" pry bars from Peterson.
SALUDOS
+adrian leon Muchas gracias. Todavía no hay información sobre el paquete . :( Me estoy poniendo muy molesto con la oficina de correos de Estados Unidos
Love all the different locks you show on your channel. That keyway was very interesting as well. Great job picking brother!
2 min 20 secs for a proffesional to open this in a vice on a desk. Best performance from a euro lock that I've seen so far.
Great work. Nice to see you fighting with that cylinder :-)
+Potti314 Thanks. It was surprising that it put up that much fight for a 5 pinner. Most of the difficulty can be attributed to the keyway, I think.
Great picking again and love the keyway!

Nice build quality on those pins😘😘
Very accomplished picking again( like it was no pushover)👍👍😘🍻🔓
Thanks as always for sharing👍👍
+Pick Beard Thanks very much!
well done. quick question for you, was you using heavy tension as your tension wrench was flexing like mad?
+tonyholt90 Thanks. I was using the same tension as I always use for locks like this, which is pretty heavy. The difference is that you could see it more easily because I was using a much thinner tension tool than I usually use (because that's all that would fit in the keyway).
ah I see, thinner tension bar, all makes sense now !! excellent work :-)

Love the sharp angles on that keyway, super sexy!
+Papa Gleb Definitely a very cool keyway... that's was drew me to it!
Pins 2 and 4 are anti bumping counterpins
Hey man - what's the prybar you're using? It looks a little more bendy/thinner than the standard Peterson ones. Thanks!

Great - thanks for the info!
I can't see the difference between slot 1 to slots 2-5 when it comes to counter-milling, how does it work?
why do you pick them upside down?
What about Dorma Kaba Gege Pextra
we are using a gege ap2000 too, but the keyway seems different, much easier. are there different versions?
Check the title, this one says "Euro Profile" so they might be different? idk tho
Gege produces 500+ different profiles
Oh great, I just got one of these not long ago but the bitting on mine is basically a deep valley😫
Awesome video
+CopLock Thanks.
another nice one!
+Jeff Moss Thanks.
