Re: at about 6.05, battery life on a charge...another major factor in battery drain is tire diameter and tire inflation. Even a small difference in tire pressure can make a stunning difference in "mileage". In general, "Tires with a smaller diameter (ed: but similar cross-section) have a higher rolling resistance with the same inflation pressure, because tire deformation is proportionally greater."
So, if your larger diameter tires were not inflated toward the maximum psi specified for them, your battery drain could be a lot higher than normal. If her tires are inflated to their maximum psi their rolling resistance is as low as they can get and it's possible her battery drain will be lower. It's not a straight-forward computation. Add in the other factors you mentioned, and you could see a much larger battery not lasting nearly as long as a smaller battery running the same power motor.
Of course, computer "pedal assist" settings could also make a major difference.
However, I thought the tire diameter and pressure factors might not be well known so therefore the main reason for this comment.
I have a Ancheer Electric Bike it cost £420 and it works great
bikes nowadays have even a 20-21kmph lock instead of 25-27. Niubility B16 has that issue which I bought because my fiido d2 broke down. So I am tempted to buy this Ziyoujiguang T18 (under the name Coasta T18) because it looks so durable.
Ziyoujiguang is definetly even cheaper and worse in quality..
Fiido D1 actually had the best durability from cheap bikes.. it's simple so there were not much to break. My cousin still rides the original Fiido D1 maybe 5th season now.
I ride Fiido D4s third year myself now.

Hi is anyone can confirm Waterproof level of this bike t18? I have fiido d2 and is not Waterproof ...anyone know anything ? Thanks
The t 18 is seald pretty well. No gasket where the battey cover conects. But it does have a lip that over laps. I have ridden in the misting rain a few times no problems at the bottom of the bike are 2 drain hols also if any water gets in the bike. My only consern would be water getting into the break system to the motor shut off so I alsays carry 2 plastic bags in case it rains. In about a week I will be installing a 14ah battery with how to install video. Hope this helps. Have a blessed day.

Awesome video. I love mine. I do wish, though, that it went a little faster and had a longer-life battery. But overall, it suits mme well. And the welding...amazing.
I am install a 14ah how to video next week 24 miles per charge. Also have a few fix it videos for the T18 its awsome. I will also be hoping a mod I will be doing will make it run 18mph.

@@shawnstatzer3137 I should have the battery in 7 days. I also ordered a Zero 10x controler and LCD speedomeater with finger throttle 3 faze unit in hopes it will send more volts to the hub to reach 18mph. But thats in theory won't know until its all hooked up. Like I said how to video coming soon on my channel just keep an eye on my channel.

@@shawnstatzer3137 I have got the T18 to run 17mph. But have scence sold the bike I bought a Dohicker also. Know as Alfawise or ExalVan with the spped liminter deleted it gets 21.4mph and with a 10ah battery and p.a.s up to 38miles per charge. Much easer ride the the T18.
what is the name of the APP you used to keep track of your speed?
hi i have the T18 and i can only go 20km/h top speed.... it supposed to go up to 25 , i checked everything, brakes, tire pressure,fully charged...but still max is 20-21km/h

I bought this bike and its a dream for £320. The battery that came with it wasn't up to scratch and I complained. They sent me a new one free of charge from China, which arrived in a couple of weeks. Unbelievable.

I upgraded my T18 to a 12.8Ah battery and it fits perfectly in the case :)
@John Smith You’re a mind reader, I just got my hands on a 350w motor that arrived a few days ago. But not fitted as I think the speed controller will need upgrading at the same time. I did 12 miles on the bike yesterday and only lost one bar with the 12.8Ah battery.
Adam Drew maybe MAKE a video of that new battery pack and even an url so you can increase your RUclips money... so you can spend it on more of the bike lol

@@The_CJ sorry just saw this. Yes yes. I am installing a 14ah battery in the battery housing in Dec. I have already replaced the 4 bar LCD with a 10 bar LCD. More acureat . but have over 800 miles on mine now. And I paied 329.00 delivered from EBay.
How hard is it to take the yellow decals off? Are they painted on or are they stickers? I have one coming next week and I don't want that much yellow on it...
This is paint job not decals.
Though you could paint it on top or simply put gaffers tape to make all black.
Doesn anyone know why this bike has become so ridiculously expemsive? I cant find it for less than 900 €. This is three times the price it had a year ago
The T18 is useless for pedaling. It's like riding a children's bicycle. The only thing you can use it for is riding it like a scooter by using the throttle. Even the pedal assist function on it goes too quick for your feet to follow so it's useless, as soon as the motor kicks in your feet can't keep up anymore. The Fiido D1 and D2 are much better, especially if you swap out the controller for one with a display (35 Euros) and even with an empty battery the Fiido can still function as a normal bicycle.
Yes, Fiido is much better as a bicycle.
T18 is a moped and pedals are just for looks.
@@MrTechcat Riding the T18 was fun though. And I did love the looks, the integrated front light, brake light and those orange stripes on the side. People do stare at you. The T18s saddle is also more comfortable than the Fiido saddle. And yes, it's very low priced.
@@MrTechcat not really! Change out the crappy peddles and disconnect the PAS, This way you can peddle all you want and add throttle as needed the PAS is useless on this bike.
Also, I guess we could replace the display (would maybe require replacing the controller also), in order to have several assistance levels, rather than just "off/on" (i.e. 0%/100%).

Do you have to pedal, or can you use electric without pedalling?
I can say on the T18 Zi you ju Wang you can use just throttle, or peddle or both
The choice can often be found as a user setting on the e-bike's computer/controller menu. Some let you lock-out the "electric-only" mode, and some e-bikes come set with the "electric only" mode locked out. I think "electric only" is illegal in some places in Europe or you have to have a moped or motorcycle license and all that comes with it.

Please say the motor Part numer located on side of motor. The motor manufacturer is CZJB. There are two versions - geared and not. Geared motor hat a lot more torque. I have Askmy X3 with visually the same motor but unfortunately not geared motor.
Fiido D1 uses geared motor.

Who has figured out how to unlock the top speed limiter on these X18 bikes I have one coming in like 2 weeks and I need someone to tell me how to make the top speed higher.
You can replace controller and battery. You won't be able to make anything more than 25km/h out of the stock 6Ah battery (36V*6A~210Watts).
Or connect two 36V 6Ah batteries in parallel to make 36V 12Ah. That would be able to provide around ~400W ~35km/h.

@@smokeinc9800 you can replace the battery inside but it takes up almost all space.. so hardly you would be able to fit more than 36V 12Ah..
Or connect two in parallel and the second one would go instead the water bottle. And would be the size of about a water bottle.
