Simple question: Which is the lightest e-bike that can be folded into a tiny structure or a structure that can be carried like a suitcase and can climb heels without losing speed?
Some of these bikes are amazing!! I have an unbranded folding bike for the past seven months and I'm very happy and satisfied with that. I would love to buy others.
If you live in the U.S. be sure to check your state and city laws regarding e-bikes. They have changed in the last year in many states. Some states stipulate a bike with over a 250W motor MUST be classified by the law as a motorcycle. Also, if an ebike can go over 20mph some states also classify it as a motorcycle. If so, you must qualify for a motorcycle driver's license, pay motorcycle registration and get a license plate, carry motorcycle insurance, and follow motorcycle laws (e.g. no riding in parks or bike lanes, etc).
@@nathan-ls8yw Just realize that if you get caught, in addition to the original charge you can be charged with multiple charges; driving without license, driving without insurance, failure to register a motor vehicle, etc. If these are misdemeanors in your state, in some states, multiple misdemeanors can result in being charged with a felony.
which electric bike would you recommend (apart from 2nd one in your video which is pedal-free) for someone (me) who has had a knee injury for a while meaning cycling is tricky/painful and so needs a bike that requires minimal pedal effort to run? thanks!
You may want an e scooter with a seat. Or maybe look at the windgoo B3 bike it looks like a bike just no pedals. Just be aware what the laws are in your country.
Not a bad video. I wish it had more consistency: sometimes you'd have the specs infograph and other times not! Why? Give us the weight of the bike everytime to further your opening argument of convenience and compactness. If a commuter is taking these things on a subway, then the weight is an important point of concern.
Looking for something similar to this. Love 14" - 16" wheels. Lightweight. Foldable. Need at least 350 - 500 watt motor. Currently looking at the Air-3 sold in New York for $850. Anything-else I should be looking at?
Bike dealers and producers leave off very important information.. . how much does it weigh.. how much is the max size of rider.. height and weight. Im a big guy.. I need a bike that is light.. but can carry a 265lbs.. with no problem.. I live on the second floor so I have to take it up and down stairs.. so you can see why I need a light bike. I would buy the Carbo but its not rated for my weight.
A few of my friends including me bought a Alfawise or Dohiker. 21mph it has P.A.S. USB port. Volt meater speedomeater and it folds up small. It much like a Fiido D1 but built better. I just put a 10ah battery in mine I get close to 18 miles per charge battery alone and 34.8 miles P.A.S. 360.00 they ship from N.Y or Cally.

Trying to carry these folding e-bikes it's so heavy who's going to carry them around, they make it look so easy in the videos, try carrying them up the stairs
Thanks for the video, they all seem very nice, design wise I’d say No 1 (Veloic deign) the Swag Cycle (No 9) looks a lot like mine (INMOTION P2f, it also folds but as much as the ones you show, it’s small when it’s deployed ;-) the P2f has an amazing max range of 110kms (43 miles) and a top speed of 30km/hour (19 miles an hour). Super solid with disc brakes and bluetooth connection to the app that helps you configure/lock the bike. Not the most comfortable ride, but so smooth and useful! Again thanks and looking forward to the next video.
I agree with the other commenters. When you describe 250 watts as 'powerful' you show you don't understand what you are talking about and discredit yourself.
I got an Ebike ad for something called a switch bike Right after you announced #5 and didn't realize it was an actual ad until I checked for the length of the video. lmao
Guys I'm in the market and look at videos like these constantly but it's maddening. I like in a small town with paved roads but it's not flat. There are some hills. Nothing excessive like San Fran but hills none the less. All the videos I watch and specs I read on individual bikes bikes seem to consider hills either not at all or the territory of bikes designed specifically for off road. Is there a decent solidly built bike that can do hills and not cost an arm nor leg? Also why is this simple question such a problem to get answered? I've not known many towns nor cities that are completely flat.
You usually have to go to the bicycle's specifications to see the maximum angle it is designed to handle. A 20% grade is considered fairly steep for most roads in the U.S. I would think that most 250W ebikes would require pedal assist to routinely make it up even a 10% grade for any length of time.

Are you sponsored by the brands that you have on this list? I am asking because there are much better electric bikes out there that did not make it on your list.
I wouldn't call these "Most Powerful" folding ebikes. With a couple exceptions they seem all to be 250W motors, 36V battery packs. There are more powerful folding ebikes. I tend to doubt the range claims of 50 miles and above, unless he is talking about a LOT of manual assist pedaling to get to those higher numbers. But, for the most part these seem to decent, if overpriced ebikes...although one seemed ok at US$700 or so given its features. I've recently seen a new Dohiker at $320. I got one at $300, although it's not my main ebike, it's fun and great for a quick "to the store for a few small items" bike. I also performed the simultaneous 'hold brake+power on' "hack" to increase the speed (not the "connect the controller wire" mod) and got something like 4mph increase in maximum speed.
Title syas most powerfu;l. My folding ebike has 750w (continuous 500w) motor. These must be bikes in the states. I'm in Canada. Check out Emmo bikes mine is the MIni Pro.
Relaistic: Most e-bikes are cheap and simple to produce, do not meet many legal requirements, are advertised with false promises and are definitely overpriced. China bikes - you can be lucky, but mostly you are unlucky with the quality. Who of course doesn't value safety and quality ... 😉
By definition a bicycle is a device with two wheels a seat, a handle bar and powered by pedals to a gear, geared or gearless transmission system. Thus a bike with no transmission or no ability to pedal to make it go is not a bike but in fact a seated scooter shaped like a bike. ie: Swagtron and Airbike both either have pegs or foot rests which can not be pedaled for forward motion. Besides the commenter hasn't the foggiest idea what is truly most powerful. A mere 250-350W motor isn't powerful anything. You want power, try an Enduro eBike. We're talking 500W to a whopping 4000W. And screw that 12v to 36v B.S. Enduro start at 48v and go up to 72v. And for power, they can carry loads in excess of 200 Kg (440 lbs) and speeds from 45 to 110 Kph (30mi to 68mi). Average mileage on a single charge without pedaling: 150-200 Km (93mi-124mi). Average mileage on any bike listed in this video on a single charge without pedaling: 15-25 km (9mi - 15mi). Seriously? How many times did he say powerful 250 watt motor? Not a single one above 350 watt? Nothing above 20 MPH? Try the green bikes big dog, lectric XP, Rad Mini, Ecotric somethin or other which are 500-750 watt and can go 28 MPH - the bikes in this video are the top 10 LEAST powerful folding ebikes on the market.
