The true GOAT. Never has there been a player with the all round skill and charisma he possessed. He was a born leader that took average teams to amazing heights. What he did in 86 WC and at Napoli cannot be surpassed. RIP to the legend.
He is definitely the most skilled player ever, the ball was almost a part of his body and he had full control of it, but unfortunately he ruined his career by usining drungs and bad habits...
He's career wasn't ruin by drug's, He's career was stablish the Day he was born,A legend was Giving to Us that Day, He's personal life was affected by his bad Habits, But on the field he was the Best!!!!
funny thing is you're not even watching his goals (which were on another level as well). The media crucified him because of his life outside the pitch, but he'll always be the absolute GOAT. Reached glory under the least favorable circumstances and gave the sport a whole new meaning. He made us so happy. Diego forever in our hearts.
I saw him live in 86 in Mexico City. It was magical like seeing Jordon or Gretzky in their prime. You do not forget those moments. He dominated that World Cup
In terms of control over the ball, Ronaldinho was the closest. I'm mad at Ronaldinho for being lazy which is why he underperformed his potential. But there is no questioning his love of the game and of the people. For that, he's also one of the most beloved players ever.
Diego is God! He danced on the court, 4 defenders were not enough to stop him. Pure art, proud to be Argentina and to have seen him play. POR SIEMPRE EN NUESTRO CORAZONES DIEGO! ♥
React to Zinedine Zidane. One of the greatest and the most elegant midfielders of all time. The Brazilians themselves know him very well. He scored two goals on them in the 1998 World Cup final and won the World Cup and was a big factor in eliminating the stacked 2006 Brazil squad in the 2006 World Cup. He was a beast.

Thank you guys. Today's his birthday and in Argentina we appeciate your showing him to the world. You've showed him very well and your comments were beautiful. Thank you.
He did actually win the World Cup in '86 with Argentina. There are four players in the bracket of best player of all time: Lionel Messi, Diego Armando Maradona, Johan Cruyff & Pele. The order of ranking them depends per person but those four can be considered the best of all time.
@@mudfreaks6962 it really isn't, I'm merely stating the difference between Messi , Cruyff , Pele and , well we know what the other one is 😉 , don't let your idolisation of the chode meister cloud that facts of the matter. To be truly great you have to be a role model , unlike Maradona and that other whinging , self important prick Cristiano Ronaldo .
Also worth noting that he played in an era when defenders regularly tried to break his legs - players now are - rightly - protected much more by referees, but back in his day, you got the legs kicked off you. Modern players would struggle to cope. I've been playing and following soccer for more decades than i care to remember, and, for me, 4 players are head and shoulders above the rest, and they are, in chronological order: Garrincha, George Best, Cruyff, and Maradona.
Thank you for your video I'm a supporter for Napoli 💙 team . I saw Diego at the San Paolo in a few games when I was a boy. Thanks for your video. Many memories, he number 1
He did play in the World Cup. It’s what he’s most known for. He scored the greatest World Cup goal ever against England and won it pretty much single hdndedly in 1986…
He won the world cup for Argentina in 1986. He also played in the 78, 82, 90 and 94 world cup. I believe he didn't play in the Champions League. He is truly the greatest in my opinion.
He didn't play in '78 WC. He won the 88-89 Europa League. Played Champions 87-88 (lost vs Real Madrid, great team) and 90-91 (lost with Spartak which later on would eliminate Real Madrid) with a very discreet performance.

Maradona was Maradona, a genius and an operatic, melodramatic mess. Scored the goal of the century and the most infamous goal in history in the same game. He was an extrovert, a man of big appetites, somewhat delusional, and at times a bit grotesque. I found him exhausting to be honest, but I was very moved when he passed away. He did things with the ball that nobody has done since.True miracles. Maradona in his prime is one of the pinnacles of soccer, if not of all sports.

He missed his first World Cup in 1978 because of his age. He played in World Cup 1982, 86, 90, and 94. I still hold this believe that he’s the greatest soccer player to walk the earth because of what he does with the ball!
Generations to come will probably never understand the grandness of this man and the things he was able to do in a pitch.
A truly rockstar, and the GOAT in the field, What a life Diego!! We'll never forget you

@@FreedomFighter2112Messi best all around player? He's a 1 trick pony and 1 team pony. Cr7 is the best all around player. He can do everything on the pitch. Long distance, short, headers, you name it. He just doesn't drible much anymore as he got older because he doesn't need to, and he's not a midget like Messi.
Messi is good, but definitely not the greatest. Nice guy, but he’s pretty mediocre and predictable. CR7 has always been a better player than Messi.

That vid doesn't even do him justice. He did play in the World Cup guys, 3 times and in 2 finals. He won it (virtually single handed in 1986) including the best ever World Cup goal against England. He had everything, sublime ball control, speed, strength, vision, decision making, passing, scoring, free kicks, the lot. He was natural born leader and a fantastic character. Messi is a wonderful player too, but he did not play on the poor pitches and in the tough tackling of that era. Maradonna was the best, the God of Football.
Plus he scored mad crazy goals. Stellar talent. Dude was a troubled cat though personally.
He not only played in the world cup but had one of the greatest ever overall performances and scored arguably the best goal ever!!! You need to check it out

My favorite player was Gabriel Batistuta of Argentina. He scored a hat trick(3 goals in one game) in 2 different world cups.
That is a record that still stands.
There is a clip somewhere of a reporter in the 70's with a load of Argentinian kids , a 10year old Diego Maradona is in the crowd of kids
the reporter says "here we have little Diego who plays, what do you want to be when you grow up Diego?"
Diego's response "I'm going to be the best player in the world"
He knew even at 10 where his destiny was

Hello im from ARGENTINA and DIEGO is a unique FUTBOL LEGEND!!!!! salutes from San Justo.
If that's a ruined career, god, show me a successful one
He's career wasn't ruin by drug's, He's career was stablish the Day he was born,A legend was Giving to Us that Day, He's personal life was affected by his bad Habits, But on the field he was the Best!!!!
@@walterfuentes3135 I think his prime years were shortened by his personal issues.
dude in the middle must have gotten an F in History/Geography 😂😂😂
Lol!
funny thing is you're not even watching his goals (which were on another level as well).
Agree but elegant I'll go with Dennis Bergkamp
React to Zidane's scrimmage with Real Madrid, outclassing active players while he was the Manager... LoL
Paul Gascoigne - Unbelievable player who rarely gets mentioned. A genius on the pitch, completely mad off it 😄 ruclips.net/video/1HlQDIHkBow/видео.html
I still remember the headbutt lmaooo
Zidane was the most complete player ever
ÚNICO NO HABRA JAMÁS OTRO IGUAL ORGULLO ARGENTINO
Truly the greatest to ever live he sweat to the last drop he had in him for the love of the ball, he was astounding , a warrior , passionate , tactical, skillful , powerful, a king in all ways possible , Rip the greatest player ever Diego Armando Maradona.
Thank you guys. Today's his birthday and in Argentina we appeciate your showing him to the world. You've showed him very well and your comments were beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you for acknowledging this legend guys. Love your videos. Mad love from argentina 🇦🇷 ❤️
Considering back in the days how ferocious the tackle was, Maradona has been the best without any doubt.
He did actually win the World Cup in '86 with Argentina.
There are four players in the bracket of best player of all time: Lionel Messi, Diego Armando Maradona, Johan Cruyff & Pele. The order of ranking them depends per person but those four can be considered the best of all time.
Only 1 of those 4 was a cheating junkie though .

RIP TO ONE OF THE GOATS
At his level, HE IS THE BALL!
Faces before the GOAT. You can pick whoever you want, but that level is unreachable.
Maradona led Argentina to win the World Cup single handedly

Bro he carried a crap Argentina to winning the world cup , it don't matter where pele ranks him hes undisputed top 4 all time (just depends on order) also he never won a champions league but it don't matter he did the greatest achievement a single player can do and thats winning a world cup single handedly and he did that in 86
He also won the serie A league with napoli before they got him. The Italian league in the 80s was crazy competitive and they were not anything special yet he carried them to winning the league twice this guy IS HIM

Great vid CartierFamily. I tell you I am 45 and saw him play live at the stadium 4 or 5 times. I consider myself extremely fortunate. And yes he is to soccer what Michael Jordan was to Basketball. If you think his videos left you guys in awe you should have seen him live. It was 10x as impressive.
Other Maradona videos to check out include him juggling the ball to the rhythm of the song Live is Life. Also checkout the Goal of the Century and the Hand of God vs England in 1986.
True KING! Watch his goals! That's what you need to see!
I am from Argentina. Very proud to be Maradona´s country man. Let me tell you that he used to do that acrobacies during halftimes in some football match, when he was a kid

Messi
Cruijf
Zidane
Ronaldo ( the real one nr 9 from brazil)
El Diego is the goat!! My man’s got it in outside the pitch too
You ask anybody that know a little bit who the GOAT of soccer was and they will twll you Diego Maradona. You ask Diego who's the best he's seen, He will tell you about his friend Jorge "Magico" Gonzales. The stuff he did in Cadiz, was something that kept Diego and his friends in awe. His words.
Maradonna was one of the original goats...he's the kinda player that would take on the whole team then score.
