Put the lift on finally the lift on the truck 4.5 rough country lift on the powerstroke looks pretty good just enough lift to look nice by still be fuctional
I have the exact same 2007 6.0 truck with a 6" lift kit and some Nitto 37s waiting in garage for installation this spring. Maybe I will record the installation process, your truck is just a teaser of what this one will look like. Looks great 👍
since you didn't remove any Leaf springs did you have trouble fitting the new rear shocks???? did they seem too short and if so what was the fix? thanks
I got a 3 foot wrench and just cranked them suckers down. The u bolts fit but just barely enough to bite you gotta really crank on them to make it work
I just done this kit also... having an issue with the front end sticking out past the passenger side fender...not sure whats up with that yet. One other thing, the drop brackets for the control arms look stupid! I will be upgrading to a 4 link for the front the get rid of the control arms.
Are your front coils bowed forward? Just did this kit on mine, and the coils are bowed. If you are looking at the side, they curve towards the front of the truck. Also the bump steer is almost deadly on my truck! How does yours ride?
Looks good, was just about to pull the trigger on the RC 4.5" and then I started to have the 6.0 issues kick in. What wheel/tire setup are you gonna go with?
Yea I was on my way home last year to actually order the lift when my heads blew so this has been long over due. I was thinking some 20 inch chrome plated XD rockstar rims. or maybe some chrome motto metal rims. I was going to get 35 nitto grabbers or whatever they are called
Those rear blocks are trash. U should go only 2-3" max. Ur risking rolling your axle and tearing ur truck up bad. U should drop those and put a smaller block to make it level. Other than that u did a good job...
Those blocks are terrifying.

you shoulda just put 4inch blocks in the rear instead of taking leafs out
Nice lift

Rough Country claims you can't install this kit with overload springs. I see you were able to accomplish this. How? Longer "U" Bolts?

Lawn Master
Basically the U Bolts are just not long enough? So purchasing longer ones would solve the problem?
Yes
Lawn Master
Thanks..I really appreciate your time...
Just get a leveling kit for the front instead of removing leafs

It took me some time but we had to adjust one of the cross members to get it to work correctly. That would be a pretty solid upgrade!
You need and adjustable track back to pull the axle back in
I know this video is old but your best bet is to throw away the blocks that come with the kit and get smaller ones
Why?

looking into getting a 2006 f250 how long have you had the truck and what pros and cons could you help out a first time buyer

Or install a good set of traction bars
That shit is ugly , did you get a smaller lift?
What size tires
did you have any trouble with the trackbar bracket?
Are you going to get bigger wheels and tires? Looks great right now, but would look better with bigger wheels and tires
it look nice but the rear blocks look different...then what I've used befor...
I agree needs bigger tires rims are fine tires look tiny with that lift
Man that looks like a 6 inch lift
Are you gonna sand and paint it ?
Could you tell me what the frame hight from the bottom of the frame to the ground is
