This is the look im going for on my rig. So far im at 3 inch rear lift and 2½ front lift🤷♂️
We're all looking for a couple extra inches
Nice job , yeah I'd look a little bit better if you trimmed off a bit more from the lower part the way you trimmed the fender you'll look good there on .
I ended up cutting even more and stuffing 40s under there!
I'm a chevy n dodge man but I like f250s the best n would save up for an 04
If I did it again I'd at least get an 05 because you have the same suspension as all of the newer models. Great ride, great price!
Love video man just found your channel Been thinking about doing 37s to my 07 f250
You should do it! Definitely subscribe because I'm about to add more lift and 40s! You won't want to miss it!
How does it ride with the lift and big tires?
Like a Cadillac!!!
Where'd you buy ur grill at???? Pls respond lol
You're not gonna like this answer but it's the truth haha I bought it off a friend and I've never been able to find another one like it!
I have 06 f350 srw with 8” rc lift you think I could get 40s to fit? I have 37s now never seen 40s in person to judge
I ended up putting 40s on with my 6in lift and loved it. Had to pull the cutoff wheel out to do some surgery but you can definitely make it work!
looks good-nice job
Those are nice. Great find on CL. Looking good.
Something minor can make a easy job aggravating. Great video.
Thanks a lot! Time for 40s!
I have a 2008 f250 6 inch on 37s with 20x10 rims. Would 38x15.50 fit on my truck and would it fit on my rims?
A 15.50 would definitely be STUFFED on a 10 wide. If you're not scared to do some cutting you can get 40s to fit! My last setup was a 6in lift with 40x15.50s on a 20x12 wheel
@Bakers DIY Lifestyle well it's a nice southern truck. I just bought 20x10s last year...don't feel like spending another fortune on rims haha. They were 1300bucks. I need to get new summer tires...I'm looking to get nitto mud grapplers 38x15.50....because I live on a dairy farm. But yeah I was wondering if I can fit 38s or if I should stick to what I have which is 37x13.50r20. And also was wondering if 15.50 would fit on 20x10. Just doing my research. I don't really want to cut my truck at all. Like my body I don't wanna cut. It's too nice of a truck to wreck like that. So is it possible to go with 38s without cutting my truck at all?
38s will need some cutting. Especially going with a 15.50. You might be able to find a 38x13.50 somewhere but without going to 12 wides I would personally stick to 12.50s. 37s will be better with off road articulation as well. 38s will need cutting for that too
@Bakers DIY Lifestyle ok thank u so much dude. Ur a big help.
Glad I was crazy enough to try it all for you! 🤣
Dang bro that looks nice I got a f250 2010 I'm planning getting a 4 or 6inch lift sometime next month
Thanks man!
I doesn't look good but it's functional.
What kind of lift are you using? A spring hanger lift? Those look like stock front springs.
Yup its a Fabtech Shackle Hanger Lift with a mini leaf pack underneath. Stock springs
Tires are 75% worn out, you bought rims
Haters gonna hate
Stupid@@BakersDIYLifestyle
Looks great but why is your truck nose diving nvm just seen why replace your front leaf springs bro there inverted meaning worn out
The front was higher than the rear but the springs definitely needed replaced. It rode rough!
How is the truck holding up with the lift ? Looking at getting one with a 6 inch lift but my Cummins with 5 inch lift I had to get custom driveshafts and what not.
It's been great so far. I've got extended brake lines and other parts to get it up around 8in. Im going to be getting those videos out here soon so if you want to follow it all be sure to subscribe!

Hey brother, do you still have this pu? Do you remember what offset these new wheels were?
I haven't had this beast for a while now but they were 20x12 -44
With a aftermarket bumper do u think we could fit 40s on a 6 inch lift?
I actually got 40s on this truck later on! You'll have to do some cutting to the back of the fenders but with a high clearance front bumper you should be fine there. It's definitely worth it!
Needa be scrolling through the gym bud
I don't even know what that means bud
What running boards are those bro ? I’m getting a 04 250 and it doesn’t come with running boards
They're nfab nerf steps. Definitely worth the money
What wheels were in the truck before?
I've had 5 different set ups at this point. Started with stock 20in chrome wheels from the 08+, unknown 20x10 with 35x13.50, 22x14 moto metals with 37x13.50s, 20x12 moto metals with 37x12.50s, and now 20x12 fuels with 38x15.50s. With buying/selling and trading I haven't spent over $500 total for all of those together!
Do they rub on the inside on the leaf???
They don't rub the springs at all with this combo. The biggest issue I have now is the fender wells not being big enough!
@@BakersDIYLifestylelove the look! Do you happen to know the backspacing of the wheels to keep the tires away from the leaf's?
@@allengable2350 I'm not sure of my exact back spacing right off hand, but most of the wheels now have a standard offset with each width. The only size I had that rubbed was a 20x10 with a 37x13.50 tire. The 20x12s push the wheels out far enough that my 38x15.50s don't rub now. I also ran some 22x14s with 37x13.50s that didn't rub the leaf either. If you go with a 20x10 I'd make sure you don't go wider than a 12.50 tire for sure.
@@BakersDIYLifestyle ok thank you!
are you running 3.73 gears? how does the power feel to you?
I've got the 4.10s from the factory. I never noticed a loss in power but I also has a motor that was far from stock haha
use a heat gun on the rear to push the liner back
It's just a floppy piece of plastic, not a moulded piece that will really stay into place with heat
Where u get the grille?
Got it from a guy I used to work with about 7 or 8 years ago
Did you sale you old wheels and tires?
Sold them the day after I bought these!
What ball joints are you running
I replaced them with Moog when I bought the truck about 15,000 miles ago
Did you have suspension travel clearance issues on the back?
Clearance issues compressed or drooped?
@@BakersDIYLifestyle When you hit a bump, and it compresses the leaf spring. Did you have any problems with it rubbing the fenders in the back? Also, what was the offset on the 37x12s you had?
i got an 02 f250 super duty gas with 6 inch front and 6.5 back would the 38s fit under it? i think you had said you have a 6 inch lift up front
Yeah man they'll definitely fit! You'll definitely have to do some cutting on the front bumper and back of the front fender but they work. And you're right mine is 6 front 4 rear so it's pretty level.
Bro I thought I was the only one that a 1/2 hour job takes 3..
Haha I wish it wasn't true! Check out my hub assembly video on our new family hauler. A 30 min assembly took 2 days 😂
You saved like 2 grand
I just bought a set of 40s for $500 🤘 Craigslist has been good to me! Haha Subscribe so you don't miss that install!
Baker's DIY Lifestyle already subbed and you looking to sell these ones?
Nah they're worn out now
Baker's DIY Lifestyle what do you search lol I just keep getting full trucks for sale lol
I search all over the place in the auto parts and wheels and tires category. All I put in is "40" in wheels and tires to find those Haha
This is a 6.0 I assume? How has the truck been overall for you?
Well after about $10000 in motor work it's been great! It was trashed when I bought it and I ended up taking the hit for bad injectors, cracked heads, rusted fuel system, and leaking seals.
@@BakersDIYLifestyle heck yeah same for me. no probs since shes been updated. 06 250 xlt
How much did IT cost you to lift it up and how much the cost of tires
The lift I have is all with stock springs. You can get a shackle and hanger kit, front mini leaf pack, adjustable track bar, and rear blocks for less than $750 bucks depending on where you get them and how much lift you want. So far every set of wheels and tires I've bought have came from craigslist or facebook market place.
Zone has a 6” spring lift for like $800...
my only suggestion is to use less zip ties bc everything else looked good.
Less zip ties and more duct tape!
Do u have a p art number for the step bar?
I don't. It's a n-fab though
I have a 6" rancho lift on my 01 f250, I'm looking to put 37 13.50 you think it will rub?
You'll have to trim a little off the valence and possibly a small piece off the back part of the front fender but not much at all!
Thanks allot this video helped me decide which ones to go with.
Glad I could help! My next video with the truck is gonna be 40s with the 6in lift!
@@BakersDIYLifestyle how wide where your 37s?and did they rub on the leaf spring?
They were 37x13.50 on 20x12s and they didn't hit the springs. My 38x15.50s on 20x12s don't hit the springs either
you running stock steering pump?
Yeah it's stock with a single damper. I'm going to be going to a dual sometime soon because the tires are finally to much for just the single. Right now it still turns pretty easily but I'll see how it feels after I go dual.
Tread looks kind of low
They had about a quarter tread left. Im about to swap them out for 40s with much better tread
What a hack job that poor truck
You should see it with 40s!!!!! 🤪
