I'm mostly the kind of silent enjoyer, but after hearing it, i feel like i must comment on this ! in my opinion, what you and Husky made is even greater and by far than the original, and as a long fan of Soken, it's not the kind of things i would say easily nor to even a really great cover ! A great cover stay a cover, but what you made here, is no cover, it's art. I could feel, hear and see the passion in both of your performance and it move me greatly. every single FFXIV fan does the headbob when they get into this song. It's like universal. No matter how many streams of people watching Endsinger p2, i've seen it happen every time. It's amazing.
And by the time I've built up 7 stacks of Scion hopes and prayers, I've got tears streaming down my face. Every freaking time.
Just ran this earlier today, but phase 2 and cranked the music. Did the last bit head-banging haha!

When I first ran this, I legit thought we lost, but when this started, I just started to cry. It was so emotional and amazing.
I'm not even a player, and I do it.
The note on "higher, oh higher" hits my tear ducts in every single version of this song, and this is no exception. I always smile and you can feel it right behind your eyes.
Then my wife asks why my eyes are bloodshot…

When that first guitar bit hits, chills and hype abound. Then the vocals appear and it's just an explosion of epicness. Y'all nailed it.
Honestly, at this point your covers could all just be called "And You Thought The XIV Music Couldn't Get Better?"

I wasn't expecting the vocals to kick in, and just got literal chills down my spine, holy shit this is pure happy juice injected into my brain
I was in the same exact space. I was just vibing, thinking "man, the trial fights this time around were all so damn high quality, and this is another banger of a remix" and then the vocals just drop in like a bomb, leaving me actually slack jawed for a moment.

Every single time I hear that opening guitar riff, my heart just swells... and then the lyrics... I just ugly cry, because we warriors of light have been through so much. This is OUR anthem. It speaks of our grief both in the world of Etheirys and within our real lives. We all have surmounted obstacles never before seen... and we are stronger because of it. May we walk ever in the light of the crystal, and may we all be that beacon of light for others.
