Why does this go so much harder than the original? I haven’t heard her before, but Ariah’s voice is so perfect for this song, it captures the sweet lilting singing style and the demanding agressive lyrics so well. The vibrato is so good!!

Agreed! Not because I don't like Ariah's voice; quite the opposite. But Ariah has this lovely richness and resonance that I thought wasn't a good fit for this song, compared to the saccharine sweetness of the original singer. But by the middle, I was like "you know, for a rock cover, this actually works really well!" Kudos to both of them!

Soken is a madman in the best possible way. I mean... take "To The Edge," "Scream," "Flow," and then something like this. Would you even think they all came from the mind of the same man? He is a freaking genius and force of nature. And props to Husky and all his collaborators who channel that genius and insanity. :)
Cause he didn't, he has a whole sound team that also makes the music. He don't make all of it.
Yea pretty sure couple expansion ago he already has many students who would also work for ffxiv music, though im very curious in who work on which pieces this time, this expansion really brought a huge range of different music genre into one soundtrack album😂
Soken is great but he doesnt make every song. Whoever arranged this song deserves their flowers.

And the remixes are the worst part of the FFXIV soundtrack.
There are so many of them and they are often unnecessary.

Honestly I both love and hate this fight. I hate it because it's a pain to heal because so many people don't understand how any of it works, but it's also a super fun fight when people DO get the mechanics and the music is just so amusing. Great job as always Husky and Ariah!

Ah yes, I love this song - it gives me a lot of "What Angel Wakes Me" vibes(which is another favorite of mine from FFXIV, by the way...) And let me tell you, both You and Ariah do a great job with this cover! Speaking of FFXIV, since you've done Bee My Honey, you must do Give it All now - it's almost guarantee now, isn't it?
